From Sinclair & Thomas.. I'll summarize from their updates in the players' threads:

least confident in Meadows
unsure of Hines
believe that Robinson (hinted that Loy may put in a CB) and Faraimo are trending to ND. Thomas not moving off of his ND CB.
And NOB, think it may be ND in the end, but no timeframe, and aren't willing to put in any predictions to ND.

People need to pump the brakes on recruiting once the season kicks off and we are 11-1 or 12-0 it’s gonna be easy to flip kids down the road. If we have 3 regular season loses something seriously went wrong. Im that confident in this years team I think we could go 11-1 or 10-2 with Carr starting

The coaching staff did not stop contact with athletes. It is a dead period though (June 23 - July 31) and no in person recruiting can go on -- this applies to the entirety of FBS football -- so any communication is limited to texts, emails, social media, etc.
If our coaches are using email, we deserve to lose recruits. Lol

No, Singer is the only one thinking it's Washington. He felt good about ND yesterday, but his sources are telling him Washington with ND fighting to change that.

From Reaper's burner last Wednesday:

Funny contrast of “insiders” just today.

Mike Singer has no clue what is going on with Robinson & doesn’t speak to him.
Ryan Roberts: “I just spoke to Dylan Robinson…” and goes on to give actual inside info.

Singer gave an update today that a monkey could have given.
Every recruit update by Singer: “I don’t know.”

I just sent out one text & got info back immediately on all 7 recruits that Singer has no info on. LOL

And it's still the same. Everyone besides Singer thinks its ND.

Don’t have a lot of time to discuss it, but…

Freeman screwed the pooch on this class the last 3 weeks.
Didn’t have visits the last week, didn’t stick around the week after that while recruits were all in “decision making mode.”
Instead, Freeman went on a 3 week vacation & sent his entire staff on one too.
Didn’t split them up so half were around to recruit.
Didn’t stick around himself to talk to recruits during the first week when they all were deciding.

What in the world have you been drinking?

Driskell posting a recruiting update tomorrow on the IB boards. Expect some not so great news. He basically had ND landing all six targets (NOB, Faraimo, Blair, Hines, Meadows & Robinson) + keeping Taylor in the class in his previous update... maybe ten days ago? I'm getting the vibe from one of his recent posts that things have changed.

I will post updates if I am able.

Sadly this. I want ND to get the studs no doubt but lets be honest, most the wow talent in America doesnt want to work and hasnt had to. They go to college as a means to the NFL and I bet if you actually compiled the total school work of the first round draft board last year, you wouldnt get a semester of real college material.

Throw in the fact that ND hasnt won anything and hasnt beat anyone significant in years really hurts the argument. Every single national stage game ND finds a way to crap the bed. It is painful as a fan. But beating S Carolina and a .500 USC team isnt exactly inspiring.

Fact is that ND is getting what ND has sowed, overall higher mid talent with some very good talent which combined with a charismatic but not good gameday head coach does not make ND a worldbeater. We all wear rose colored glasses and think ND is the best school in the world to go but in the end, it isnt for most the mindset of CFB athletes.

No offense, but isn’t this what has been going around on the boards for the past 48 hours? Wouldn’t say his thoughts are really original

I remember when we were losing our WRs last year and the meltdown surrounding that. Then suddenly Freeman started hauling in portal guys and the meltdown flipped upside down. The next couple weeks look brutal but maybe Freeman has something up his sleeve. IDK what that would be, but he’s going to have to figure something out.

Still relevant. IB was high on where some of the recruits stood on Monday so it will still be interesting to get an update. Also Roberts does usually reach out to alot of contacts so it's nice hearing his input

Good lord, after the official visits all of the insiders basically said Farairmo was a slam dunk and all the others were a pretty good chance. Now we aren’t getting any?! WTF

I think some people just need to unplug for few weeks. Maybe turn off your phones, go to the lake with your family, drink a couple beers, throw a pigskin around, drive some golf balls into a lake, wrestle some burrs and check back in a month or two.

ND has to do a better job at pitching their "easier" degrees. Duke does a phenomenal job at this, and they are arguably a slightly better academic institution.

The fact duke can get all the top talent with basketball says something. Basketball is probably the most difficult sport to manage academics due to the number of games and amount of travel.
