Kaminski or Williams based solely on us leading with DL commits over the last couple years.

I’d love to get Mark Zackery in the fold early. Cree Thomas would be a great start though.

When Golden leaves, I hope Mickens gets a hard look for the DC job.

Agree. And I do think it's different than promoting Gerald because MF actually knows defense and what good defense looks like. He can help far more with 1st time coach on that side of ball

That and Mickens has worked under Freeman’s defense so he has an idea of what they try to run. Although Goldens is a little different.

I think he should get a look at DC because he deserves it.Parker for the OC spot because he was all that was left, not because he earned jt. He’s inherited a CB room that would get the occasional good CB, but it seemed like they were always scrambling to find starting capable corners.

Similar to DMC, he’s turned his position group into a well oiled machine. He has his that room setup to be successful for the next handful of years. Hopefully Stuck and O’Leary can follow suit.

Isn't McNutt being recruited as a S? I know some recruiting services have him as a CB while others list him as a S.
I don't believe in passing up talent in this transfer era. I wouldn't put an arbitrary number of how many guys I'm taking at a position get the talent and let the chips fall where they may.
I wouldn't limit taking lets say 3 S or 3 CB if top talent wants to come. Getting top talent is one thing but to take it to the next level you need stud depth to more or less create an assembly line.

Singer recap from this weekend:

- Maintains his belief that ND is the leader for Flanigan.
- Feels that ND is in the lead for Dallas Golden, considering putting in a prediction
- ND a big contender for Daylan McCutcheon
- Still likes his prediction for Owen Strebig
- Looks like ND leads for Shanklin right now, but his recruiting process is just getting started. More offers could complicate things
- ND among Humes' top schools. Irish in a good spot right now
- Visit blew away Linkon Cure.
- Things remain the same with Bettis Jr.
- Believes ND is a Top 2 school right now for Easton Ware.

- Finally, Cree Thomas. If he visits one more time for a home game this season, Singer believes its a done-deal.

He’s primarily only visited a few schools, mostly regional like Clemson and Liberty. Yet, has made his way down to Baylor twice.

I’m thinking maybe? VA to Clemson is a popular route for some of the states best athletes.
