Yeah. One of their blunders.

Powers' isn't the perfect evaluator. He's struggles with some positions. On3's ranking system is based upon NFL potential, not so much college. I believe he said that KVA's athletic limitations are the reason, and hence wouldn't be drafted due to them. Now, he sees him as a late 6th round pick sitting at #200.

Always a good reminder to not get too invested in how a website evaluates ND's commits. Our staff has found a lot of early contributors in the last 2 classes, I think they'll continue that pattern and we'll all be happy when they get on campus.

Next year Freeman will have his 2nd full class signed and a 3rd that he was a part of. Happy that some of the services rate our guys high but it's all just digital ink. The real litmus test is when they get on campus.

He’s not bigger & stronger than Teo.
Just faster.
But Teo’s instincts are a million times better, thus why he had 7 INTs his Senior season.
More than Love. More than Morrison. More than both Smith’s (Harrison & Jaylon).

Mounts soapbox...

This is dumb. KVA is, what, five years from the draft? A lot of football to be played between now and then.

Also, as a devoted fan of a college football team (the core audience for recruiting websites, one would think), where high school kids might get drafted when they're done playing for my favorite team is simply not all that important to me. Mostly I want to know if he'll help Notre Dame win games. The rest can come later.

Not everything is about the boring-ass NFL.

Rrally good LBs hit the right guy at the right time... Manti did that and drilled a hole through them. He hit different.

Right now we have the Top 13 class which isn't great but landing Lambert will help with rankings to a degree.

I've felt we'd flip him for a while. Definitely has to help that ND is off to a good start while Tennessee looked really average against a mediocre Florida squad.

Didn't Loy says it's someone we haven't mentioned? That would rule out Beasley, Scott, Wingo, etc.

Why would Loy need to keep the visit quiet then? If the kid has already gone on other visits. Why does the visit to ND need to be a secret?

Considering Loy said it's someone we haven't mentioned and that we'd like that's a pretty good guess. Honestly, I have a hard time thinking of who it could be. My best guess is Benedict Umeh or Nitro Tuggle.

Because if Bama finds out they could push hard to keep him against coming and use negative recruiting against us. Like Oklahoma did with Jackson Arnold last cycle
