Maybe because he was asked/told to keep it quiet until the visit actually happens. Maybe the recruit doesn’t want it out before the trip occurs, maybe the parents, maybe the ND staff.

He mentioned it for the second time on the “Overtime” video podcast that the mystery recruit is definitely committed elsewhere. I don’t believe it is a VIP video and it was posted yesterday morning. He mentions the mystery recruit almost at the end……..

Yesterday someone brought it up on IB & Driskell said that sites shouldn’t be talking about it. Then deleted the thread.

I have a feeling that both the kid & ND don’t want Loy talking about it because he’s committed elsewhere.

Wasn't Loy the one who screwed up our chances with Monroe Freeling? Something about him putting out an article that wasn't accurate about whether he was a take.

watching an irish ilustrated podcast with Loy and another beat writer sunday talking about saturday's game and when asked kids coming for this game he said the mystery kid is still coming and that it is at a position of need and ended by saying his source didn't want the kid's name mentioned yet until he is on campus this weekend.

I just remember one of his first big hits was blowing up a screen, which is probably the most indicative first impression of all time. I swear Manti was a cheat code for destroying screens. He always had a ridiculous nose for them.

That was his freshman year, season opener vs Colin Kaepernick & Nevada.
ND was up 35-0 & when Teo came in all the fans started cheering for him.

I remember seeing a clip of him going through an agility drill. The way he handled it so effortlessly caught my eye. He stood out.

But Carter Nelson would take this offensive class to the moon. And honestly it'd be really hard to be excited about the future of Nebraska offense right now.
