Lynch deserves to go to NYC but I don't think he should win it

Hell no, he shouldn't win it. By far their hardest opponent was IOWA. Are you kidding me? If Case Keenum didn't get invited for his video game stats, Lynch absolutely shouldn't. By the way, no Heisman QB should pass 5-17 against Western Michigan. ND would be 12-0 with NIU's laughable schedule, Rees, injuries and all.

Lol if we're gonna cite stats then you should probably mention he ran for 321 and 3 TDs but I guess you just conveniently left that part out:

Winston will win barring legal issues. Otherwise I'd bet on McCarron because of how the voting tends to go.

Ka'Deem Carey should have an NYC invite. He's had two incredible years in a row.

I can't help to think about Ken Dorsey when McCarron's name comes up.

The michigan qb who couldn't tie his shoes ran for quite a few yards as well, except they play real opponents. Case Keenum had absurd passing stats; he didn't win it, justifiably so, because they played horrible competition, but even their opponents were better than NIU's. Can you imagine what Manziel or Winston could do against Lynch's competition? They would have over 500 yards in the first quarter!

It became a joke a while ago when we (fans, journalists, ESPN) began to do preseason Heisman polls and predictions. It became a joke when they stopped using the criteria set up for the Heisman by the Heisman Trust itself. (The Heisman Memorial Trophy annually recognizes the outstanding college football player whose performance best exhibits the pursuit of excellence with integrity.) I really want each year for them to make the right choices, but besides RGIII I really have a hard time thinking they make the right choice. It goes to a great player on the best, or one of the best, teams anymore. You don't see a player who is absolutely amazing but on an average or slightly above average team even invited anymore. That's why Andre Williams from BC should be invited, but won't.

Andre Williams is on pace to have more yards per game than Barry Sanders 1988 season. Widely considered as the best season by any college runninback ever.

Andre Williams uses Invisibility Stars during games. Unfair advantage. No Heisman

How many yards did he have against ND? I don't remember him being a huge factor in our game.

I'm not saying he should win it. I'm just saying he deserves to go to NYC IMO.

Auburn's punter. 2 punts in a row downed inside the 2 in the forth quarter.

Winston if he isn't charged, I don't know otherwise. JFF and Andre Williams are up there as are Mariota and Jordan Lynch

Unless he is found guilty, it's easily Winston's if the award was given today. For the sake of college football in general I hope he did not do the things he is accused of. Next year with many of these players gone, I fully expect Golson to throw his name in the hat for the award. The kid is just so damn talented, he needs to just get out of his own way.

I would like to see Andre Williams get it. Johnny Manziel's last two games have really hurt him IMO

It's too bad the Tallahassee police are intentionally delaying their announcement of charges, probably for this very reason. If they charge him, my fictional ballot would be something like:

1. Andre Williams
2. Mike Evans
3. Ka'Deem Carey
4. Braxton Miller
5. Jordan Lynch

In years past didn't you have to at least have the semblance of being a high character guy? Bush, Newton, Manziel, the potential issues with Winston, I don't like how it's trending. If I had a vote I would not validate anyone I suspected of not exemplifying the best in college football, regardless of statistics. Why give that stage and that award to someone who will use that profile intentionally or not, to further corrupt the standard we want everyone to strive for?
