I don't see Geno picking ND, he stays south. Very confident we land Yuri Wright. Our CB's will rival our DE (inluding Ishaq and Councell) class from last year.

Unfortunately I do not see ND landing a "stud" safety. Hopefully this changes after the visits start

Marshall isn't a 5-star across the board. Rivals gave him 4.

Regardless, landing at least one "elite" RB in this class is critical.

Right you are... Although Rivals hasn't given any RB's a 5-star, and I think that if they give at least 2 a 5th star, Marshall will be one of the backs getting one.

update on scout about Yuri Wright changing his timetable for his decision.

The chances of Geno Smith committing during/after his visit are slim. He still has to check out Texas and it will be hard to pull him out of the south. I think we have a legit chance with Yuri Wright and maybe Shumate. That about wraps up the secondary.

Rivals has 17 5* recruits...of those I would pick Andrus Peat like TT predicts.

Scout has 36 5* recruits...of those I would pick Peat again.

Love the difference in rankings between the three.

going to take a wild guess, also this would explain Geno not visiting. T.J. Davis, just a guess we will see.

ND is still in it for Geno....granted there is a lot of work to do...but the canceled visit didnt really have to do with any certain recruit/offer.

TJ Davis looks kinda like Jalen Brown....a little more raw with balls skills, but the athleticism is there as well as that "football sense". Get him some legit coaching and cb work and he will be fine.

Right now, I think things will slow down other than a select few names that will be visiting in the near future....ND is waiting on the elite talent and they wont decide till end of the summer, after officials, or once their season completes.

Win and they will come!
