I too waited a long time, played it for the first time about a year ago. Might be the best game of all time for me, it’s at least top 3

I took the day off because I wanted to play it all day and have a longer weekend. My boss loves me ( I work for myself) lol

Your post gets me even more excited to play it. Of course I just found out red dead is a good bonus month so I may be switching back and forth.

Damn, I'm jealous! I'd still have that Playchoice 10 arcade that I posted earlier if my wife would have let me put it in the basement. It just collected dust in the garage, too hot to play it in the summer, too cold for winter.

Just started cyberpunk last night. Took forever to create my character to look close to me so didn't play too long but the short time I have played all I can say is WOW.

Red dead 2 online is my go to game with GTA 5 a close second as they both have stunning graphics and a great storyline and main characters..... Cyberpunk on the graphics/visuals level (the short time I have played) are insane. Maybe even better than red dead 2/GTA 5 (in my opinion).

As far as characters go, I have not really explored enough to give feedback but the first guy I met was pretty sweet. Looks to be a very interesting game and I'm pretty excited to see how it progresses.

If you're interested I did a lengthy write up in this linked post regarding Cyberpunk: What video game are you playing?

The story gets better the further you go in imo. There's also a bunch of different endings depending on your choices. I'm the kind of person that prefers to get the "best" ending on my first playthrough in case I don't like the game, and then if I enjoyed it I'll go back and play through the other endings. You may want to go into it blind, but if you're like me you may want to make sure you make the right choices so you don't lock yourself out of anything. I would also suggest making multiple saves as you go in case you need to roll back to an older save for whatever reason.

One other thing, not sure what kind of characer you're currently building, but do NOT overlook the Netrunner tree! It's extremely versatile and can be downright overpowered depending on how much you use or abuse it. I'm talking wiping our entire buildings of bad guys without firing a shot or before they even know where you are. Maybe that's not your playstyle, but it's a fun alternative to the traditional run and gun gameplay if you want to kill enemies with your magic technology.

Have fun, let us know your thoughts or if you have any questions.

Yeah I probably will have a bunch of questions for sure. Im at the part where this guy gave me something to plug into my neck or something and I'm doing some training mission. I have done 2 out of 4 so far. Very interesting. Seems like I will have aot to remember and do but I'm sure I will get the hang of it.

I haven't even made it into the city yet but I'm going to be looking all over for the trees now. 🤣

I just love getting lost and doing my own thing /learning along the way but I'm not sure if this is that kind of game or not. I'm happy so far.

Paging @IrishLion for his AC Black Flag remaster takes

In my old age, looking back on all my AC experiences…. Black Flag might be the GOAT.

If it’s a true “remake” and they actually reform the annoying tailing missions, it could very well win the Academy Award for Best Game Ever Made.

Not gonna lie, this looks pretty cool.

I remember when I bought a starter ship/package back in like...2011 when Star Citizen was still in it's infancy. I rebuilt my computer around 2012 thinking "I'll be ready when this thing is done in a few years." I waited and waited, and built a new computer 3 years ago...still waiting.

I feel like they've been saying its going to be released for years! I'm definitely interested in Squadron 42, but I also am eager to see the persistent universe come around without them wiping cash and progress. I don't mind starting from scratch here and there because grinds done well can be fun, I usually prefer the game to be a full release if I'm going to restart.

Yeah, believe me I know

S42 is 99.999% coming out this year, they've put all their eggs in the basket as it were

Once that happens the persistent universe (PTU) will be going to beta.

There hasnt been a full wipe in a while... but it can be kinda frustrating. I dont really mind though as they've introduced serious game loops that make it fun to grind. (Blueprints, crafting, mining for materials to complete it... etc)

I completely understand being suspicious about it, but when it works? There's nothing out there remotely close

Finally picked up Ghost of Tsushima. I'm having a blast reliving the earlier Assassin's Creed games

If you aren't already I would recommend playing that game on the difficulty that turns every hit into a kill. Surprisingly very well balanced and makes the game so much more memorable.

I should absolutely do this ASAP. I had forgotten about stuff like this and the Kurosawa mode that popped up as options when starting the game

Kurosawa mode is cool to try but so much of the game is about the color of the world/flowers/trees and I felt like I was missing something by having it on. It is a neat option though.

Only downside to the one hit mechanic is that I enjoyed it so much that I never turned it off. Not many people played it that way so I feel like I played a completely different game when people talk about it lol.
