Bought that Ps4 Bundle that comes with Battlefront.

Definitely also getting Fifa16.

What 2 other games would you guys suggest? Non-sports.

I should add that I'm not a big online gamer and I enjoy anything by Bethesda. Also enjoy things like Mass Effect, GTA, and games like Heavy Rain.

GTA 5 on PS4 was worth another play through imo... I still play it. but aside from that, non sports games... you're obviously getting Fallout from what you stated... but, you have to get The Show at some point, it's absolutely beautiful on PS4

I have the newest Show for Ps3 otherwise I would. I usually alternate the show and Fifa every other year and mix in NBA 2K or NHL sometimes. NCAA was a yearly buy RIP

some kind of college football game is coming in the next few years... too much money to be made for someone not to jump on it.

I really hope they don't just clone Madden with different jerseys.

Yes. Played it briefly at my brother's house, and it was great fun. Solid metacritic rating as well.
Kewl beans. Since I'm not much of a "gamer," it helps to have a quality game based on IP I know to help get me into a game. Things like Halo and Call of Duty have very little appeal.

I'd describe the gameplay as a cross between Batman: Arkham City and Assassin's Creed. The combat system is reminiscent of the former, while the free-running is reminiscent of the latter. If you have enjoyed any of the games in either of those franchises, Shadow of Mordor should be a safe bet for you.

Haven't played Arkham since Asylum nor Assassin's Creed since the original. Similar mechanics?

I don't buy a lot of games, but own all of the MG games. I wouldn't say MGS:V is insane. I personally like PS1 MGS, and PS3 MGS: Snake Eater. Phantom Pain and Ground Zero aren't as good. Still great games, but the earlier ones are clearly better IMO. I don't like the idea of controlling the base and building an army. I want to sneak through the jungle and snap necks.

Story wise it is weak but the gameplay is the best in the series. Everything moves so well and I have so many holy shit moments. For example last night I was being super sneaky through a base and was on really low ammo. I thought I had tagged every guard but one had been sleeping and woke up and saw me, shit. So I'm running and now there's a chopper shooting at me and I'm about to die. I remember that Quiet is in the area and I tell her to cover me and run straight at a container. Quiet it's sniping people left and right and I climb up on the container and Fulton it with me still on and escape.

This kind of stuff just happens every thirty minutes or so.

I guess it's different for everyone. I agree the gameplay/smoothness is better, as is the realism of the situations (like you described). But I like the deep, twisted story mode of the past ones with many video breaks/cut scenes. It felt more like a good story than what the current games are, which feel more like normal games. But I agree the gameplay is improved.

To recap, no one wants to play PS4 COD with me?

It definitely doesn't feel like a metal gear game, but that doesn't take away from the game it is imo.

Snake Eater is probably my favorite

I know it was discussed a little above, but MGS V: Phantom Pain worth getting for X360? Been a huge fan since the PS1 MGS days.

Can anyone give me an idea of the vibe of Fallout? Trying to decide if I want to get on that train for Fallout 4. I'm not really into zombies or anything that makes its money on gore and obscene amounts of violence, but the concept is intriguing even if the whole "radiated mutant" thing is kind of played out. Is most of the game spent fighting monsters or actual people?

Fallout 3 depended on how you rolled character wise, there were many options to do both... Fallout 3 def didn't strike me as a game that relied on gore and such... imagine Skyrim in a Mad Max world...

You fight all kinds of different things. Missions aren't always about fighting either. Sometimes you can complete missions while avoiding combat entirely.

If you like games where you can go down many different paths and complete many different missions beyond the main storyline, this is a great game. If you like one linear narrative, I would say forget it. Your character has different traits and special abilities that you can choose depending on your style of combat. Stealth, sniper, etc.

There's also a lot of items that you pick up and sell to accumulate cash. That's a tedious aspect of the game but something a lot of people enjoy.

I would want to say yes, but I have it for PS4. As others have said, the gameplay and such is spectacular. I actually am liking the way it's set up story wise as well. I like that you can sneak into a base, or blow it straight to hell. It allows you to still play the game like a normal stealth MGS game, but at the same time, you can go balls out and play like some kind of one man army (isn't that what Snake is after all?)

Put about 50 hours into Oblivion (finishing the main quest and Knights of the Nine) and maybe 30 into Skyrim (still in progress). I get on kicks where I'll play it for a week straight and then stop caring.

Then there you go, Fallout is the same exact game, just different world/setting...

I'll add that fallout takes itself much less seriously than Elder Scrolls. There's a lot of ironic faux-red scare humor throughout.
