It’s bidness time
Damn, I forgot all about that, it's been forever.

It’s bidness time

Awesome. Loved Dokken back in the day. I think the “Into the Fire” LP was my favorite. It’s the one that included “It’s Not Love” among others. Also liked their power ballad (”Alone Again”) on their earlier album. Loved all the metal/hair bands from that era.Dokken. They were one of my favorite 80s hair metal bands when I was a kid. “Back for the Attack” was the 2nd tape I ever bought!
I was talking to an employee at Sam Ash and it turns out he used to be a guitar tech for them. He’s putting together a tribute band and they need a bass player. He invited me to join so I’ve been listening to their greatest hits and learning the bass lines. The only problem is I need to be able to provide backing vocals and I can’t sing, much less sing and play bass at the same time. But I’m gonna give it a shot…
Not really my thing but it’s a famous country classic and I live like five minutes from Rosa’s… been there quite a few times now:
A pretty cool update/tribute of the song from Band of Heathens:

Still cool.So I learned today that Golden Earring's big hit is "Radar Love" and not "Red-Eye Love",... all these years I thought it was such a clever song,... he'll take a red-eye flight drive in the middle of the night for it,... thus, "Red-Eye Love"
Now it's not as cool,... lol
The song is written from the point of view of a truck driver who says he has some sort of psychic connection with his girlfriend — "radar love". He senses that she urgently wants him to be with her, and it makes him reckless. His recklessness causes him to have a fatal accident, but even in the afterlife the song's narrator and his lover still have radar love.
Just saw Muse on their current tour. Pretty darn good show and live band.
Did this ever pan out?Dokken. They were one of my favorite 80s hair metal bands when I was a kid. “Back for the Attack” was the 2nd tape I ever bought!

If you haven’t heard these guys just start from the beginning of their first album and listen to all their stuff all day Monday.Since PedSU I’ve been on a Tool, Korn, Staind kick, with some Rage Against the Machine mixed in.
My lady asked me today to stop pacing the kitchen. I really wish I was still playing ball because I need to hit something.
Irish are about to fuck these dudes up.
