Without LB Fleetwood Mac is just a shadow of its former self. He is the piece that elevated the band from good to great.
Fleetwood Mac without Lindsey Buckingham is like the Beatles without John Lennon; the Beach Boys without Brian Wilson; Santana without Carlos Santana; the Who without Pete Townsend; Crosby, Stills, and Nash without Stephen Stills, etc.
I'd say SN is what elevated the band the most, and then LB.
FM, when whole, was a delicious meal made up of several key ingredients.
But let's be honest, a tour without Stevie, isn't a tour. People will go see them without LB. And their living off their old music now... no new creativity.
It's funny the band members continue to act like children after all these years. And Nicks needs to remember that she would have never been part of the band in the first place had LB not made her a condition of joining to play lead guitar.
So happy I saw them on the first leg of the tour when CM first returned a few years back. I figured they wouldn't keep the entire band together for long. Surprised they stayed together this long TBH.
