Shinyribs - “I Don’t Give a $hi+”

Judging by their live YouTube vids, this band would be fun to watch live. They do a great job of “When Doves Cry”.

Lead singer, Kevin, was in The Gourds who famously covered Snoop’s “Gin & Juice”

NOTE: still can’t get a Youtube vid to post correctly on ipad.

Green was a very, very interesting dude. If you're not familiar with his history, check it out.

I look at pre-75 FM, and post 75 as really two different bands. Love both of them.
And then there was the whole fake FM episode. lol.

saw FM 3-4 years ago. they sounded as good as they did in the 80s.

BTW, LB recently kicked out of FM by Stevie.....

Yeah... this performance was attached to an interview he did on CBS This Morning. Interesting 6 minutes. The one thing I took away from it was Mick Fleetwood is a giant in an industry of midgets.

Without LB Fleetwood Mac is just a shadow of its former self. He is the piece that elevated the band from good to great.

Fleetwood Mac without Lindsey Buckingham is like the Beatles without John Lennon; the Beach Boys without Brian Wilson; Santana without Carlos Santana; the Who without Pete Townsend; Crosby, Stills, and Nash without Stephen Stills, etc.

I'd say SN is what elevated the band the most, and then LB.
FM, when whole, was a delicious meal made up of several key ingredients.

But let's be honest, a tour without Stevie, isn't a tour. People will go see them without LB. And their living off their old music now... no new creativity.

It's funny the band members continue to act like children after all these years. And Nicks needs to remember that she would have never been part of the band in the first place had LB not made her a condition of joining to play lead guitar.

So happy I saw them on the first leg of the tour when CM first returned a few years back. I figured they wouldn't keep the entire band together for long. Surprised they stayed together this long TBH.

I'm here too.

I'm not big FM fan by any means but The Chain is one of my favorite songs. When it's my time to checkout, I want the the outro's crescendo cranking as loud as my speakers can handle. It makes memories flash through my head at warp speed.

The 1975s new album is a bit addicting. Not as good as their last album but some good hits.
