With all the hype surrounding the game, or the jerseys? Because, yes, this game is the most hyped game of the season, its at night and the entire ESPN150 will be at the game. But its a game between two unranked teams midway through the season. I'm not downplaying the game - I couldn't be more excited. But still, I'm not sure the game is so epic that it requires a brand new uniform. Honestly, I'm not even sure where that idea would come from. Do you expect LSU and Alabama to break out never-seen-before unis when they play next week? Because that game will be hyped.

As far as the jerseys, that has been hyped on this board (exhaustively). But that isn't the football program's fault. They don't owe us a new uniform just because we have an idiotic 750-post thread on a message board, in which we have proposed some of the most radical (and offensively ugly) uniform changes imaginable. If they come out wearing anything other than green or blue, I will shocked beyond belief. And incredibly disappointed.

Yea I see your point; I was just trying to rationalize why the unies that we’ll be wearing are so secret. We knew what the unies would be for the Mich game, but don’t have a clue for this game. It just seems to me that with the first night game at ND in 21 years, all the big time recruits on hand, for ND to not do something that is eye popping and attention getting would be crazy to not take advantage of a great opportunity. High School kids now a day have a lot of schools vying for their attention and ND with some sweet a$$ crazy (yet tasteful unies) will have a great opportunity to make some noise. Just my opinion.
