Killed off a Talisker 10 yo bottle and started in a Old Forester 1897
Sounds like just like a new beer my favorite local MI brewer, Bell's, just unveiled this year. Hopslam is one of my all-time favorite IPAs, a double IPA brewed with Honey which really smooths it out on the backend. They rolled out a tropical version this summer, has notes of citrus and grapefruit which gives it a much more DIPA style (dry/bitter) finish than its sister beer. Prefer the original but this was a fun wrinkle, got really excited when I discovered it.Kern River Citra.
As good as it gets with IPA’s.
Bitter, hoppy, dry and lots of body.
Bonus that it was delivered straight to my door from the brewery.

Marca Negra.Recently discovered I really like mezcal. Anyone have a recommendation for top shelf?
