The best. Easily.Yeah, his drink listing on this thread is top shelf.
Damn, are you that young, or did you rob a cradle? I expected you to be an older gentleman.

Yup. This is definitely a Macallan 18 night.
No robbing the cradle here, I am only 3 years older than my wife.![]()
Macallan 18 is a great choice.
Now I am onto some Lagavulin 12yo bottled in 2004. One of my favorite whiskies. Big time smoked fish, brined lemons, vanilla, tar, walnuts and apples.
WantMade some cinnamon simple syrup. Old fashioned
I don't usually buy the Kirkland Signature beverages, but my friend (a whisky collector) said that the Kirkland Signature Blended - 27 Years is worth the $50 price-tag.

Has anyone tried this? PKT?
I purchased it, today. I think I'll open it, tonight.
Another man from Arizona singing the praises of Evan Williams? Unreal. Evan Williams is my daily driver.Evan Williams is your friend. $10ish for a 750ml bottle an still decent.
$50 for Kirkland??? You can get Stranahans for that. So it better be pretty damn good. Let us know.
Felt like something festive for the start of my weekend... got some Anderson Valley Winter Solstice, never had before and it's just what I wanted... lots going on but balanced well...
Picked up some Elysian Night Owl too and have that on deck, one of my fav pumpkin ales...
Their Boont Amber is pretty solid. I've been meaning to try some of their other offerings. Will pick that up if I can find it.
Does anyone else find the descriptor "pumpkin spice" totally misleading? There's no pumpkin at all in it. "Pumpkin pie spice" would be more accurate, because it's just clove and cinnamon, but we put that stuff in all baked goods this time of year. Better to call it "Autumn spice" or something like that.
Congrats.Spent the whole day taking my PE Exam. Just got back home a bit ago. Took a shot of Grandma and having a Mckenna BIB 10 year neat to celbrate hopefully taking my last test ever.

Wont find out results for a few months though.
Now Lagavulin 12 2011 release.
Absolutely wonderful notes of vanilla, smoked fish, tar, some massive brineness, some tart lemon and just a hint of green wood. Not the best 12yo CS Lagavulin (2008 and 2004 are two that stand out to me).

Honestly not sure if my HEB has this one.
