I am ashamed for all of you. I know when I'm drinking shitty beer. It's still beer and we all have our guilty pleasures, but let's not put PBR on a pedestal.

Best comment so far was "not the first thing I'd crack on a Friday night." It is what it is. I'm as guilty as the next man in.

That being said; can't wait 'til [insert backup beer] gameday.

Arcadia Barrel Aged Shipwreck Porter

A beer I got from Jackalope. I think the bourbon must be pretty strong to begin with, because I still get quite a lot and it's been sitting for 8 months.

Good dark roast flavor, bitter aftertaste.

I made a Makers Mark Old Fashioned. Make my own spiked cherries to add to it because why have a regular cherry with no alcohol in it?

I will limit myself to two of these because the bourbon angers up the blood too much during Irish games. So, I have Guinness for the second (and third) wave, then some good ol' Silver Bullets down the stretch for the 'Bama/Florida State game.

Recently tried Drie Fonteinen Oude Kriek, which is probably the best kriek I've ever had, and Victory's Sour Monkey, which was a decent sour, but not one I'l likely reach for again.
