Sipping on some Redbreast 15 year old to celebrate the win over Texas. Very nice, on multiple levels.

You take a drive down to IN?

Was at the game yesterday and picked up a whole bunch of beer, a lot of it 3F. Having a War Mullett now. Really enjoy this beer.

Celebrating last night's win (took too long to get back from the game for a proper celebration) with a 2012 Chateauneuf-Du-Pape and some duck liver mousse with crostini. Yes, all of this post is bragging and I don't care.

Break out the rubber sheets if you go on the piss with all that grog.;)

Update: woke up with both sixers empty and no Rumpleminze remaining in the bottle. Needless to say, I had a bit of a rough Sunday

Nothing wrong with that.

What'd you think of the Newly Developed Hops IPA?

Starr Hill Grateful Pale Ale. Good warm-weather sipper. The label reads "A hop-forward, sessionable pale ale." That pegs it. It has the crisp hop flavor but not so much that it's like sucking a grapefruit. 4.7% abv goes down smooth.

I really enjoyed it, partly due to how different it is from most IPAs. Some lime and a little grass upfront (with some other citrus) and then a nutty flavor with a little fudge on the finish.

I tried Terrapin Hi 5 IPA and Rye Pale Ale. Both were good and drinkable, nice to wash away a rough day. They come in cans. I've gotten more partial to can beer on these muggy days; something about that sound when you crack the top open and just the feel of drinking out of a cold can.

Something I've been wanting to try for a while!

Dogfish Head Palo Santo Marron. Delicious brown ale.

Abita - maple Pecan ale brewed with maple and pecans aged in bourbon barrels. Very delicious. Just sweet enough with a nice bourbony finish. Warms the chest a bit. Gin and tonics to follow. Finished my last 3 floyds alpha King earlier. That makes me sad.
