At Slater's 50/50 tonight. Had the burger of a month, a beef patty with turkey and bacon chili, bbq spice rubbed bacon, ninkasi beer cheese and sea salt kettle chips on a brioche bun. Damn good.
I had Lagunitas Citrussinesis (an IPA brewed with blood orange) and Three Weavers Expatriate IPA.

How does that compare to their Hefe?
It's getting a bit old but it's a good beer. My bar has just not been able to push it well enough so $ 1.50 is a good price for me. Rich, but not bready or anything.

Just picked up the Stone RuinTen Triple IPA. Also grabbed a Knee Deep Breaking Bud. The next few days should be fun.

I just scored the Breaking Bud about an hour ago too. Debated if I should get it since Knee Deep is in Auburn, CA same little burg that produced Eddie Vanderdoes. Anyways, I bought it and put in in the fridge for tonight. I will not be in the bit surprised if it is not there when I go to retrieve it this evening and instead, it is my neighbors fridge. He is a UCLA grad afterall.

I think they should also come out with a Brewin Sucks Stout. That would be a good companion for Russian River's new release.... Mora the Felcher.

I believe that I have only had their Eraser IPA which was ok to me but nothing special. Let me know how the Southern Triangle tastes.

Are you down in San Diego for the week? I have to go to Vista tomorrow or Wednesday. Was thinking on a mini crawl to pass some of my day??? Only 5 days left for Enjoy By in Escondido...

...btw, the Rough Draft Southern Triangle reminds me of Lagunitas IPA with a splash of water. Same taste and finish but thinner. Stronger finish for what the body would suggest. It's ok. It's not Lagunitas IPA, Hangar 24 Betty or BP Sculpin. I dread going back to Scottsdale and not being able to pick these up at any gas station.

I can put up with a lot of crazy Cali crap for the chilly summer and the world's best beer.

I have a buddy who works at Shorts so I feel guilty every time he comes over and my fridge is full of Bells and Founders. So I started carrying more Shorts in my stash. I've gotta say they make some pretty good beer. Today I've had Dan's Pink Skirt, Huma Lupa Licious, Hopstache, and Hangin Frank. The Hopstache is pretty killer.

If I was in San Diego that would be awesome. Unfortunately I am way too far North and inland. :censored:

Stone RuinTen Triple IPA. This is 8 days old. Holy Shit this is different. The color is darker and made me think that there would be a fair amount of malt. I was wrong. Massive hoppiness, almost like someone distilled hops into a juice and served it to me. Lots of tropical and citrus, but also with some pine and herbal hops as well. Stone threw down the gauntlet.

Earlier I had 21st Amendment Hell or High Watermelon. It was horrible. Tasted like Bud Light mixed with a little watermelon jolly rancher. :pileof:

Modern Times Blazing World Hoppy Red. A very good beer. Almost more like a Red IPA then a Hoppy Red though.
