These days its not "what" but "how much"
Both bombers down . We are leading by 3 , time for some SN Celebration .
Let's go Irish .
Lagavulin 16yo.
I really like this whisky but the one slightly disappointing thing is that they have definitely cut down on the sherry casks that go into this bottling.
Still loads of wood smoke, coal, smoked tea, some salt/ocean smell, caramel, and oak. Hints of tobacco leaves and worn leather.
Not quite as good as I remember it being, but still a damn good whisky especially at $55.
Care to share where you got it for 55?
Just picked up the following. Feedback is welcome because I've never tried any of these.
Yards Cape of Good Hope Epic Ale (Philadelphia)
Traveler Jolly Shandy (Burlington, VT)
Red Hook Long Hammer IPA (Seattle)
Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold (Cleveland)
Bell's Midwestern Pale Ale (Comstock, MI)
Woodchuck Bold Sweet Raspberry (Middlebury, VT)
First up: Bell's Midwestern Pale Ale. Pretty standard pale ale with a somewhat bitter finish. There's something metallic in there that I'm not loving, almost like I'm licking the inside of a vegetable can.
