Heretic Evil Twin Hoppy Red Ale. It is very good. Lots of caramel malt, citrus (grapefruit and orange) with a little pine.

Lagunitas Brown Shugga. I can not wait for SUCKS to get released or for that matter Sierra Nevada Celebration.

I tried some Rogue Mogul Madness Ale yesterday. It wasn't bad, but not my kind of beer. Too much sour citrus flavor to be refreshing. Does anyone know why Rogue doesn't put ABV on their beer, or anywhere on their website? Doesn't it occur to them that some people may want to know that?

I have no idea why (though I did think it was on the bottle as I thought it is required to be). Beer Adcocate says it is 6.6%.

Coronado Stupid Stout. Some roasted malt, nuts, coffee and cocoa. It is ok but I would much rather have Sierra Nevada Narwhal or Oskar Blues Ten Fidy.

This Cronado Stupid Stout is way too thin to be an Imperial Stout, it is more like a black IPA in body.

Traveled to the Bend last weekend for a baptism and the Navy game (completely coincidental there). Swung by City Wide to pick up some beers I can't get in AZ.

Founders' Dirty Bastard: I love Scotch ales, and this one didn't disappoint. Had to drink it straight from the bottle like some filthy peasant, so I'm having a hard time comparing it to Oskar Blues' Old Chub, but it was damn good regardless.

Great Lakes' Elliot Ness and Dortmunder Gold: I'm generally not a big lager fan, but these were both delicious.

3Floyds will have to wait for the next trip.

Oskar Blues G'Knight Red IPA on tap with fries and bacon ketchup. You read that right bacon ****ing ketchup. Huge chunks of bacon in homemade ketchup.
