The Rye isn't technically a Tennessee Whiskey. It's actually made in Indiana. It's decent though, but I prefer the #12.

I assume that WhiskeyJack knows the difference. After all, the word "whiskey" is right in his name. I'll take a run at the #12 and rye when I get a chance.

El Segundo Citra Pale Ale (good, almost like a IPA lite)
El Segundo White Dog IPA (A very good wheat IPA).

How is it?

Terrific, hints of citrus in this one as well as some spices that I can't quite put my finger on.

Comes in this cool bottle too...the pic doesn't quite show this but the bottle is as big as a champagne bottle.

You had this one PKT?

I have had it and enjoyed it though my favorite beer from that brewery is Gulden Draak. I would gladly drink either on any given night.

When I went to the store, I was choosing between Piraat and Gulden Draak. I hadn't heard about the Gulden Draak before so I went with the one I had drank before, Piraat. Next time, I'll have to try the Gulden Draak.

You should definitely get it, it is well worth trying.

Trying to decide between the North Coast Old Stock Ale and Lindemans Cuvee Rene

Not what I meant. Dickel is the only other Tennesee Whiskey besides JD these days. Dickel Rye, however, isn't a true Tenn Whiskey. They don't advertise that, and it's good either way.

Recently discovered Allgash Brewing in Portland, ME. Their Allagash white is a huge hit and is 80% of their revenue. Owner told me LA is their biggest market and Philly is #2

Golden Road Brewing Wolf Among Weeds DIPA.

Also Stone / Farking / Wheaton W00tstout Special Release. 13% abv.

N: Cherries, chocolate covered cherries, vanilla, nuts and some oak. Also a little something that is cloyingly sweet.
P: Similar to the nose. Loads of chocolate covered cherries, vanilla, and nuts. Some oak and rye spices underneath the sweetness.
F: Chocolate covered cherries and some oak char come through. Vanilla and caramel show up as well.

Oddly bitterness lingers after you swallow. I didn't get any bitterness till then. It is 13% but tastes more like 9-10%. A very good beer and well worth trying but not amazing (still not bad for $8).

If they ever start distributing in AZ, Whiskey will have Phoenix up to #3 in no time, if not #2.

That's a recipe for trouble if you're drinking more than one.

Affligem 950 Cuvee Blonde for me, just ok. A little too sugary for me but still ok.

Only 1 but it is 22oz and after a 16oz beer at 8%, I am starting to feel it.

What I'm drinking is too ghetto to post. And I have to work early so I shouldn't be drinking anyway!

Golden Road Brewing Point The Way IPA.

An ok LA beer. Some citrus and herbal flavors. Some pale malt as well. Not bad, and I would like to try it on tap, but I probably won't be buying this again from the store.

Golden Road Brewing Wolf Among Weeds DIPA. A very nice DIPA. Lots of grapefruit and pine bitterness. Some orange and some pale malts.

Had a Dancing Man Wheat (Hefe) from New Glarus last night as well as a few Oberons. Really wish I lived in Wisconsin so I could drink NG regularly. As far as the Dancing Man, I was not a huge fan. Tasted kind of like a cider, strong banana taste and smell. I have had better.
