PBR. I had to buy some for cooking purposes (brats simmered in beer before finished on the grill) so I might as well drink the ones that I don't need for cooking.

I do that all the time... It's a great low budget beer imo

Lol... Ill take Pabst over Coors, Bud and other beers of that nature every time, and often do. I mean it did win "best beer in America" in 1892.....

That's how I do my brats as well. Beer, butter, and onions.

Oskar Blues Deviant Dale's IPA.

N: Orange, grapefruit, malt, piney, and hints of tangerine and peach.
P: Orange, tangerine, peach, with a malty backbone, caramel, and just a little piney and earthy hops.
F: Orange and malt. Some bitter grapefruit. The bitterness grows for a minute or two after each sip.

I really enjoy this IPA. Not as piney as Stone or Green Flash's IPA but I think it is just as good.

Oskar Blues GUBNA Imperial IPA

N: grapefruit, malt, rye, a little orange and some floral scents. The floral scent grows the longer it is in the glass.
P: Grapefruit, malt, some rye and orange pith. A little pine and just a touch of floralness.
F: Slightly bitter grapefruit and pine. Some nice maltiness.

A different Imperial IPA that is very good but not great. Not sure that I have ever tasted rye in a IIPA before.

Knee Deep Simtra Triple IPA 11.25%

N: Loads of tropical fruits, citrus and other fruits (pineapple, mango, orange, banana, and peach) with some pine. After a couple of seconds, you get dank earth and fresh cut grass.
P: Orange, peach and mango. Some pine and grass as well. Bitterness grows and grows.
F: long on grapefruit, grass and pine. Bitterness keeps growing.

A very good IPA as long as you like bitter.

It's warm and humid out there today so I'll be chasing the heat away with some vodka highballs. Tito's, club soda, and a splash of lime juice or lemonade.

Dragonmead is a well thought of brewery around here but Trippel's really aren't my style. It's still ok though in my book but I know some people that LOVE this beer.
