Today marks the 1st anniversary of my dad's death. So a few nice things to celebrate his life. We had lunch today at Nello's (Whiskey will get it, as he grew up in the same area as me).

Man... right in the feels. Nello's is my dad's favorite restaurant. I'll probably do something similar after he's gone. Saw this last night on my phone but didn't have time to respond properly; so I remembered your dad in my intentions during my driving-to-work rosary this morning.

Mix
2 ice cubes
5 dashes of bitters
~ 3 Oz Old Forester bourbon

Oh and stir really well, 30+ stirs

Founder's PC Pils. It's labeled as a "hoppy pilsner." They got the hoppy part, but I think they forgot about the pilsner aspect. It tastes like a West Coast style APA. With a pilsner, I'm looking for a smooth, light-bodied beer that goes down easy. This isn't it.
