You're not missing too much tbh. Think New Belgium as far as quality.

Sun king fistful of hops red. Not much info as to what type of hop other than a "seasonal hop variety". This is part of their quarterly IPA series.

One of my favorites, founders azacca. Very good hop.

Happy Birthday PTK hope its a good one!

Thank you. I had a typical parent birthday. Chase around one child who we are trying to potty train, refereed the older kids bickering and dealing with lack of sleep from a 2 week old.

Some Founders Imperial Stout while enjoying a nice cold Southern Arizona night (well for Arizona).

BP Thai Chili Wahoo

My fav BP beer for a couple reasons:

1.) I'm a spice nut and have always searched for good pepper beers ( let's face it, most are rancid). This one is straight money for combining my taste in beer and spicy fare.
2.) BP is usually good, but far too expensive... hard for me to validate the price pointts... Wahoo always seems to be significantly cheaper than other BP beers.

I'm really enjoying it.

Thoughts?

i like it but im really looking for a substitute for Founders Harvest Ale which they only produce and sell in October every year. It's probably my favourite beer in Michigan but its a total bummer you can only get it one month a year and in a bar its like 9 bucks a glass :p

Bulleit old fashion. Keep forgetting to pick up simple syrup though...

I don't know your situation but I wouldn't ever buy simple syrup. Mix 1 part water/1 part sugar, simmer on medium low heat and stir until clear, put in a jar and store in the fridge. You've got simple syrup.

Add fresh lemon juice to the cooling simple syrup and you have sweet/sour mix.

Yes!

And if you want to get real crazy, put spices or herbs in the simmering syrup to infuse that flavor. Putting a cinnamon stick in simple syrup for Old Fashioneds. 10/10.
