Bell's Roundhouse Ale. It is a hoppy red brewed with honey. It isn't quite cold enough yet (I jumped the gun in opening it) but I am really impressed.

Yeah they do. The kids are artists. They come up with so wacky stuff. Cream Corn Ale and Dark Side of the Moo are a couple of favorites.

They have a blood orange In. H. Ale that just came out in casks. Will be getting some soon.

Boomerango is my favorite. Mango IPA. Can't find it in cans very often

Having one of these. Also sharing a Brewery Vivant Plowhorse. Really enjoy the first. The latter is very meh.

Made an Aviation. Gin, lemon juice, marichino liqueur, creme de violette. Shaken, strained into a martini glass.

3F Space Station Middle Finger. Not overwhelmed by this one but I've had a few today including Warlock by Souther Tier (pumpkin stout). Before you judge, it wasnt my beer...given TO me by a friend. It wasnt terrible, just not my thing.

New Glarus Spotted Cow
My condolences. Friends don't let friends drink Spotted Cow.

Calling PKT, Mr PKT?!?!?

Enjoy by 10.31.16 Tangerine. Best enjoy by I've had in a few releases.

I guess that I am the official Spotted Cow hater. I don't know what is worse, that Spotted Cow is horrible, or that New Glarus has so many better beers and yet many people still buy Spotted Cow.

Now that we are past all of the Pumpkin Beers, we are into one of the best new release time periods of the year. Bring on the Fresh/Wet hopped ales.

I picked up
6 pack of Deschutes Hop Trip Pale Ale
4 pack of Founders Harvest Ale

I also grabbed a 6 pack of Saint Archer's Mosaic IPA (IIPA) since it just arrived here (canned date of 10/5/16). ACamp have you had it?

Now I am just waiting for Lagunitas Born Yesterday, Sierra Nevada Celebration and Founders Backwoods Bastard to arrive here (I am sure that there are others as well).

Yeah, Spotted Cow is completely overblown. I don't get the hype.

My in-laws went to Wisconsin and just randomly picked some up for me. If I would have known they were going to do that, I would have asked for something else.

I don't blame you. I agree that Spotted Cow is way overhyped. Have you had any of the other New Glarus beers?

Picked up a 4 pack of Harvest Ale a while ago, thought it was very good. Just today, picked up some Bear Republic Racer X, Stone 20th Anniversary IPA, more Enjoy by, 2016 Ten Fidy and 2015 Ten Fidy.

PKT is right, entering a great part of the beer calendar. Hoping to find some Barrel aged Ten Fidy, Barrel aged Sixth Glass and Lizard of Koz. Not sure how much luck I'll have with any of those though. Should be able to secure some Backwoods Bastard though.

Also, totally agree with the Spotted Cow comments. Thought it was OK but not worth the hype.

Stone Xocoveza, had the potential to be kind of a hot mess but it's actually really enjoyable. Great wintertime beer, will save some for Christmas eve.

Stone Enjoy by 10.31 Tangerine IPA, pretty damn good

Both are very good beers. I agree that Xocoveza came out really well.

So far tonight:
Deschutes Hop Trip Pale Ale. Good as usual.
Founders Harvest Ale. I think that I enjoy it more than last year. It will be interesting to try it next to Born Yesterday sometime next week after BY makes it here.

Saint Archer's Mosaic IPA (IIPA). Bought it based off of a friend's recommendation. Drinking the first one from my IPA glass and that might have been a mistake. It is really bringing out the bitter/dank side. The nose is wonderful though. I will try one from the can later this weekend to see how it fares. Still a good to very good beer.

Just the Pumpkin Pie Lust. Next time I'm in Minneapolis I need to run over to Wisconsin to pick up some others.
