How long does it take, 119.5 seconds? Or is that a myth?

I'm not sure about the nature of your question.

In my experience, it's a matter of conditions and skill. Much as with baking bread (both involve yeast) ambient temperature and humidity come into play. The first pull laid the base. The second another rise/fermentation and the third a finish.

I never timed the process, I just licked my lips to bide the time.

Founders Breakfast Stout.

In other news, i had a beer sit in my fridge all night untouched. Rumors are rampant of a transfer to another, less stocked fridge. Stay tuned.

I really like Dirtwolf. One of the few East Coast IPA/DIPA that I think is worth a damn.

Victory is turning into my reliable, go to brewery. They don't knock it out of the park, but everything I've had from them this year I've enjoyed: Saison, Summer brew, Fest Bier (their Marzen, and I don't usually like Octoberfest beers), Storm King is a respectable Imperial Stout, and the aforementioned Dirt Wolf and Golden Monkey. Not outstanding, but always really good.

Sierra Nevada Estate. Its an organic "homegrown" wet hopped American IPA.

Amazingly good. Tastes more like a fortified/ dessert wine than mead. Smooth and sweet.

Two Deluxe Irish Whiskies Arrive In US - Forbes

Greenspot to be released in the US from March 1st 2015. Good news for all you whiskey drinkers!

Forbes is a little late to the party. Green spot has been available in the U.S. for close to a year now. I've had it on my bar since March. It was a long time coming though. Delicious stuff, but pound for pound, I'll take Redbreast's pot still expression any day.

Golden Monkey is like eating a slice of birthday cake. So rich.

Really? I don't get that taste from it at all. I think it's a little sweet, but the reason I like it is because it's mostly crisp and dry and isn't a struggle to drink more than one, like with Hefeweizen. Well, different strokes.

I don't have time to read this, but I'd be curious to see if they adjusted for the socioeconomic background of most moderate drinkers. I would bet that people who don't socially drink often don't because they don't have the money to waste. I'd say that alcoholics are likely spreaad amongst different socioeconomic groups. But I'd bet that most consistent moderate drinkers are upper-middle class people with free time.

Sapporo. This is my go-to beer whenever I'm eating sushi or at a Japanese restaurant.
Never disappoints.
