I continue to be surprised every week by how un-Bama like this Bama defense is. I know some want LSU in the bowl game but I’d much rather this Alabama team

A lot of attention on the offense around here and nationally, understandably so, but I think this is the bigger storyline. Saban is supposed to be the defensive guy.

DFEI rating of 1.22 which is good for 5th but I’m with you. They do not seem nearly as imposing as years past or that ranking suggests.

Beating Bama in a big bowl game would be a good consolation prize for the season

What a completely different game from one half to the other. Vols absolutely dominated us the first half, and we've totally blown them out the 2nd half, 27-0. I don't remember seeing two halves so flipped as this game.
