Your missing out. Its not your typical slapstick comedy but it does the job with quirky characters and a peculiar plot line. And of course Bill Murray.

I haven't seen the last two selections. I will have to give them a watch soon.

You're missing out.Very funny movie.Nothing beats the beginning where Murray is talking about the death of his family member and his plans.

Consider it queued up.

Great flick...role of a lifetime for John Witherspoon:

Side note on this one: I'm going to see Charlie Murphy and Faizon (Big Worm) Love live this Thursday.

best scenes in the whole movie IMO

Now we're waiting on a girl to vote. I bet she votes for "Thelma & Louise" or Fried Green Tomatoes".

Was really hoping that this movie would be less known and I could steal it in a later round. Watched it in full for the first time a few weeks ago. Pretty enjoyable.

I volunteer to act as her proxy – I have the paperwork around here somewhere.

Marx Brothers "At The Circus."

<iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/n4zRe_wvJw8?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

and "The Three Stooges Go To The Moon."

That should do it. Move along now.

For some reason I can't help thinking of a friend of mine that I used to golf with. Dude would take 20 practice swings before every shot, take forever to line up putts and ask everyone which way the break went- then ignore the advice, would never give up on looking for a ball in the woods...we called him the Human Rain Delay. Not sure why I just thought of him...

At what point should this go to a default pick (Air Bud for this round)? I don't want to do that, but we've been stuck on this pick for a while. What do you guys think would be fair?

I'm getting a server error while trying to send PMs, but someone wiser than me suggested a proxy pick (even though there is evidence to the contrary it wasn't dshans), and give K1ssMe the option to change her pick. if she so desires, to any of the movies that haven't been drafted yet.

Since D!ck was kind enough to provide the pick K1ssMe selects "At the Circus".

Black Irish is on the clock for 2 picks.

Sure, get me in deep doo-doo with the most attractive, charming and intelligent poster on IE.

Thanks a doo-doo load, Mr. L.

Even though you provided a pick- you are off the hook. The "someone wiser than me" sent me a suggestion via PM (along with the option for K1ssMe to change her pick when she logs on). While you did provide a pick and mention something along the lines of paperwork/proxy...So K1ssMe if you are reading this dshans didn't send me a PM on the topic. His hands are clean.

I'm glad I didn't use the term "celebrity pick"...can't imagine what that would have done to the ego.

For my second round pick I am going with "Young Frankenstein." I can't believe it took this long to get Mel Brooks on the board.

My third round pick is "The Philadelphia Story." I probably could have waited longer but it is too good a movie to not take early. If you have not seen it, do yourself a favor. It has one of the most intelligently humorous scripts ever written.

Worry not. The ego is well hydrated, well fed and well exercised. It took the head and shoulder fake (the hips don't swivel quite as well as they used to) of the proxy pick and the pick itself. "Wiser than" was a given.

"Lydia" is one of my favorite songs of all time and K1ssMe sports some body art so I thought it was a good fit. Of course she has the option to override my quasi-official [bogus] pick. She is woman, hear her roar.

3rd round for Old Scholl? Blue is rolling in his grave.

Hats for bats. Keep bats warm. Gracias.
-Pedro Cerano.

I'll take Major League.

A first round talent fell to the 3rd round. Injury concerns? Perhaps. Blazing Saddles is off the board. PI, you're welcome.
