Voted...2,900 votes and still 50/50 I live in Atlanta, and they are crazy about them bulldogs down here. Even I root for them since I hate everyone else in the SEC!

Maybe someone can explain to me how a pet can be a tradition? My buddy has a bulldog. Sometimes it stands around and watches him do stuff. We don't think of it as a "tradition" though.

UGA has gone through many UGAs. I guess that can be considered traditional to have bulldogs from the same bloodline.

I have never been a big dog person, but have always liked those types of dogs b/c they are the most cat like in that they are very chilled out and lazy... lol

I am looking to get one some day and name it "UND" (like uga of course just for Notre Dame) for obvious reasons... but they are very expensive so this may be some time down the road.

Yeah they are expensive dogs to own, not to mention they drop some absolutely wretched room clearing farts.

Their large heads create issues during birth, which drives up the cost of Bull Dog puppies. They're also prone to serious health problems-- mainly related to breathing (given their strange shape) and skin (the folds on their faces).

I wouldn't recommend one.

They can also be little a**holes. My cousin had one when I lived w him in college. I yelled at it cause it would always growl at me and chew stuff... It hated me and always tried to get in my room to **** on my floor. I like my golden lab much better.

My wife made me buy her a french bulldog....She (the dog) hates me, and I don't care much for her either. All she does is bust azz at the worst times.

Anyone notice that the Nebraska vs Oklahoma game already has twice as many total votes as the ND poll?? ND fans are gonna need to step up their game to continue if we make it past this round...

personally I would never consider owning any other dog... the best type of dog is that which is served at Korean BBQ's... the second best are English Bulldogs... lol

Man, that is messed up. I love dogs. I have no use for cats. They are truly terrible creatures with no souls. When my friend travels I take his dog but I tell him his cat has to fend for itself.
