Kiffin and the rest of the team were a half hour late for a joint dinner with ga tech. That to me is completely disrespectful.

I hate to NOT pile on 'SC, but to be fair: there was a flight delay out of LAX that made them late, and they informed the Sun Bowl people about it.

I read that they were late because Kiffin ran practice too long. Which one is correct?

Flight was delayed which led to practice ending later than scheduled. It wasn't that he kept them at practice for an extra 90 minutes. Same practice with a later start time.

With the way they played, I would surely hope they didn't practice more than scheduled.

Anyone listen to that Woods audio? I'm at work so I can't, but I'd like to know if he said it how it was tweeted or if he has a legit gripe with that reporter. As much as I hate USC, Woods and Lee are two NFL bound, class-act guys.

The reporter quoted him word for word. It sounds like he is saying it with a smile on his face and he then says they prepared him for the next level. My take is that he obviously wanted the ball more and he wants people to know that but at the same time doesn't want scouts to think he has an attitude or anything. I think he is just being honest.

IMO It sounds like the reporter twisted his words to make him sound angry.

Can't listen to the audio, but even if he was misquoted or had his words twisted, it comes across as another little sad episode in this season of disarray.

Sarcasm doesn't always play on the radio or keyboard very well. He said exactly that and then hemmed and hawed over how they prepared him for the next level. Slightly tongue in cheek but truth rings true.

Just awesome. Class imploding, team doesn't give a damn.....Just please keep Kiffin, He'll get it turned around

Can't wait to play them next year and blow them out. A little payback for those 30 pt losses a few years back.

I defer all USC commentary to the Taiwanese.

SIAP, but now a painkiller scandal? ESPN just mentioned one and kept showing USC, had the volume off.

Check the Armond Armstead thread. Or the ABC article.

Remember Armond's heart attack at USC? Claims the USC staff gave him Toradol on a regular (unadvised) basis and that prolonged use of Toradol caused his heart attack. Glaring quotes from Momma Armstead.

With the embarrassment that was the Sun Bowl and USC's recruiting class falling apart, this is the perfect time for this article to hit the press. Save some kids from the pitfalls of the current regime.

Let's Play The Lane Kiffin Blame Game - Reign of Troy - A USC Trojans Site - News, Blogs, Opinion and more.

If 2012 was any indication, it’s clear that Lane Kiffin doesn’t have too many supporters. Throughout the season, Kiffin was peppered, crucified, blamed and criticized for everything from wearing sun glasses to recruiting Silas Redd.

Many of the criticisms, like shoddy play calling all season long, have their merit. Others, like Kiffin catching heat for the Coliseum’s decision to ban pregame walk-throughs, have been examples of Kiffin’s reputation losing the benefit of the doubt for him, an opposed to his actions.

So we created the ‘Lane Kiffin Blame Game’, the interactive game that uses a spinning wheel to determine whether or not it’s just to blame Kiffin for anything that may occur in the world.

Just an aside, but it is crazy that even after losing Vanderdoes, SC's class's average star rating is 96.17 on 247. For perspective, Jaylon is our one and only recruit above 95 (Bivin, Anzalone and Cole Luke are at 95). That is serious star power ...

... if they can keep it together. Big if.
