Thought I'd make this so we could not have a million different threads. Let me know if I'm missing anyone.

Visiting Class of 2014 not committed to ND:

Bo Scarbrough RB :s::s::s::s::s: Committed Alabama
Damien Mama OL :s::s::s::s::s:
Juju Smith ATH :s::s::s::s::s:
Matt Elam DT :s::s::s::s::s:
Tyler Luatua TE :s::s::s::s:
Michiah Quick ATH :s::s::s::s:
George Panos OL :s::s::s::s: Committed Wisconsin
Nyles Morgan ILB :s::s::s::s:
Allen Lazard WR :s::s::s::s: Committed ISU
Nick Watkins CB :s::s::s::s:
Erik Brown WR :s::s::s::s: Committed Washington
Drue Tranquill :s::s::s: "Committed" "to" "Purdue"
Payton Hendrix S :s::s::s:

Notre Dame Committed attending:

Quenton Nelson OL :s::s::s::s::s:
DeShone Kizer :s::s::s::s:
Alex Bars OL :s::s::s::s:
Justin Brent WR :s::s::s::s:
Corey Holmes WR :s::s::s::s:
Greer Martini ILB :s::s::s::s:
Richard Yeargin III :s::s::s::s:
Nic Weishar TE :s::s::s:
Johnathan Bonner DE :s::s::s:

Class of 2015 attending

Jashon Cornell DE :s::s::s::s::s:
Tristen Hodge OL :s::s::s::s:
Andre Robinson OLB :s::s::s::s:
Blake Barnett QB :s::s::s:
Cameron Green WR N/A
Justin Tranquill S N/A

Unconfirmed/Possibly attending

None at the moment

Do you guys like this style of recruiting? Seems like a huge risk. I'm also concerned about each player "feeling welcomed" by the coaches if they are too busy with the game/recruiting everyone else.

It didn't work for Keith Marshall in 2011 because John Theus had to be a douche and babysit him to make sure he didn't get too interested. Other than that, I think it gives Notre Dame a chance at hitting it out of the park

Recruits develop relationships and end up recruiting for the school as much as the school recruits for the school nowadays. Hopefully they click and can see themselves playing with each other. That's one thing that's nice about the large recruiting weekends.

Commits Nelson, Brent, Bars and Yeargin are also scheduled to be there.

Bo is scheduled too, conflicting reports with Mama.

2015 QB Blake Barnett will be there. Expect to here about more 2015/2016 guys, maybe some more 2014 too.

Would be a flop if we didn't have a strong showing from our committed guys. With them on hand, we could really benefit from this weekend.

Definitely a risk. But the rewards could be phenomenal, because the atmosphere is so much better for a night game than a day game. If you've never been, it's literally night and day (see what I did there?). I can actually....wait for it....STAND a night game without being told to sit down multiple times by people not willing stand and cheer for their team.

And even in the horrific loss, we got guys like Steve Elmer and KeiVarae Russell from that game.

But yes greyhammer, we gotta have this win!!!!!!!

That really sucks. I'd love ND to have a chance to impress him.

I went to the game in 2011. Yeah I've seen the difference.

I guess I just considered it a bust because we lost and it seemed like recruiting lost all momentum for awhile after that if I recall correctly.

Some have said USC and some have said BYU. Pretty sure we get an OV just not sure when.

I'd add Lorenzo Carter as a possibility. He wants to attend USC but Navy works better for scheduling for him.

I think we do get a visit too but I think he ends up at SC....Coach O was at his game last Friday. I will be going to a Bosco game very soon they are loaded with D1 talent. They scored 75 on a very good Crenshaw team. Is Josh Rosen the 2015 QB coming?

Oh dude, for sure it was MUCH closer to a bust than a success. But some good did come out of it, if only a little. For me, at least it proved to the community that we could have a night game and people wouldn't go out and shoot the town up afterwards. South Bend survived! (and again, like you saw, the atmosphere, by all accounts, was awesome, until we puked all over ourselves and lost)...

I was there in 2011, burnt all of my financial aid refund to get there. Crist's fumble was the largest buzz kill I've ever experienced.

No way Quick or Elam are 'more likely' at this moment than Drue Tranquil or Juju Smith. Elam is a longshot.

Isn't Juju allegedly in love with USC? And Tranquill is not visiting so I wasn't including him. I think we have a better shot with Quick than Juju.

If ND lands any of these prospects due to the visit then the weekend was a success. I like our chances with a few of them

Saw in another thread where Loy's Crystal ball for Juju is ND.

FWIW, Crystal Ball is 46% ND for Quick and 50% for JuJu Smith. Hardly a difference. Unless you know something we don't, IDK how you can wager Smith is way more likely to end up Irish than Quick, especially since Smith's dream school is apparently USC and a solid coaching hire will be a huge help.

It seems ND does this every time SC comes in... it hasn't worked to home run levels yet... I think you can make the case it's hurt more than helped... BUT, if you keep throwing it at the wall it should stick eventually right??

Let's hope this is the year.
