North carolina has 39 commits lmao
I’ve thought this all year ; they’re actually doing a nice job of building a roster and going about it exactly how you should do a full rebuild at NC.

It’s just that he’s old and gets mocked for the young GF +was given expectations from ESPN/media.

Well, LR appears to being doing one thing well.

According to this local ABC.com story, LR and Chad Bowden have put together the #1 Class for the 2026 cycle (per ESPN; ND is #4 btw). Bowden of course basking in the glory and all the kudos being thrown his way. Apparently, this class would be The Trojans first #1 one since 2007 under Pete Carroll. If true, not too bad for Bowden in his first year as GM there.

How the USC Trojans landed the top 2026 football recruiting class
They’re paying him $1 million? I wonder what someone in his position at another power program makes. For the amount of work I’m sure the job requires, $1 million isn’t a lot in Los Angeles.

Comparing 26 Classes:
QB: USC
RB: I will take us, they have an argument
WR: I will give it to them, we have an argument
OL: Us and not close
DL: US. They have more numbers but give me the DE duo and high ceiling DT
LB: Them. 2 man class for each. They have the best, we got the next 2
DB: Us. Wouldn't trade our secondary class for another

He has been saying the same thing for a year and it hasn't gotten done. The only thing new is now a concession that it's going to take a break. USC is clearly not committed to continuing to play the series.

I would think that USC would be motivated to try and keep the scheduling for this one as it is, unless they truly want to go with an easier opponent. For one, it's a good draw. Second, if the scheduling stays the same it ensures USC probably doesn't have to travel to the Midwest for a freezing game at least one week in November. They'll either be at home when they face us at the end of the year or they'll have us in South Bend in October like normal which increases the likelihood of a different home game for them in November.

Big Ten schedule releases were a year ago today. SEC just released yesterday.

If the game is happening, it has to be imminent.

Thats a tough schedule. If they play ND, you can pencil in 4 losses right off the bat (Ohio State, Oregon, Indiana, ND). Washington and @ Penn state also wont be easy.

Lincoln Riley should keep looking to escape before it's too late. A couple 7-5 seasons in the row are going to get him fired.

It really is rather amazing that in the year of our Lord 2025 a ranked USC team @Indiana is viewed as a sure loss for USC when nobody even knows who Indiana's starting QB will be in 2026.

Two years ago such a statement was inconceivable.

In Cig we trust, I guess.

I trust Cig a hell of a lot more than Lincoln Riley.

USC deserves the crap they're dealing with.

Traveling to Indiana (2,050 miles), Penn State (2,570 miles), Rutgers (2,750 miles) and Wisconsin (1,970 miles).

They have no one to blame for this but themselves and their greed.

I imagine part of the ploy for the B1G to bring USC in was not just to dip the foot into California, but to try and have leverage to bring ND in eventually.

Fuck 'em both, I wouldn't trust either any farther than I can throw a midget.
