Riley knows deep down he can't develop QBs. He has to take transfers to play over his 5 star recruits because he can't coach them up. Williams was the same QB he always was and will be a bust in the pros because he was never developed. Mayfield was a transfer. Murray was a transfer. Hurts was a transfer. Rattler and Williams are real Riley "projects" and one got ditched and the other was media hype like Zach Wilson.

Assuming youre caliing Caleb Williams just media hype? Lay off the sauce man. He has one of the most unlikable personalities in sports, but kids a complete baller and deserving of the accolades. He has some things to learn, but I expect he will turn into a very good NFL QB. The arm talent is insane. As far as college players, there is nothing Mahomes could do at TT than Caleb cant do and possibly do better right now. We’ll see if he takes the next step like Mahomes did.

They dont have a QB recruit in 24 and it is going to be a struggle to hold on to Lewis till NSD with Georgia and Bama in the mix.
