So you would pass up millions more to live in the rat race of downtown LA and coach at place with horrible facilities and deal with the daily brain damage that comes with that program?
C’mon man, you know the metrics that make USC a great job. Do these really need to be spelled out?
Almost unparalleled tradition? Check.
Fantastic recruiting base in your back yard? Check.
National reach in recruiting? Check.
National name brand? Check.
Number one school in the area? Check.
Best weather in the nation (generally speaking)? Check.
Unbelievably beautiful coeds to attract players? Check.
Top flight education (regardless of whether the players get that education)? Check.

Cool factor? Check. (Thank you Reggie Bush)
Top-flight facilities? Check (the new McKay Center is nice)

Historic stadium right next to campus? Check.
Sure, there are some down sides to that job, but name any job in the country and I can name you some down sides. I hate USC probably more than anybody on this site, but it's not hard to see why it's a top 5 job.
