If we are done with all of that; the thing I want to see if it even matters if he, you, me, or anyone thinks anybody on the Sc staff is racist. That sure did hook people in. Now everybody knows how hard Sark is. The minute things start going wrong the fair-weather fans will pull this out to beat him over the head with it. Coaches that have a few of these, and are slow to win big, usually have troubled tenures.

Like Kelly's purple face?

Like 2010, 2011 and 2013?

Just made myself sad.

Don't be sad, be glad!

Just like purple face, rape, scissor lifts on windy days, so on and so forth. Heck we even heard awful stories about Kelly during the contract renegotiations, (for himself and his staff.)

Some coaches - purple face plus slow to win kills. Lord knows many groups (admin related to ND Nation) have tried with Kelly.

The caveat to this story of issues true or not dragging a mediocre coach down (Sark is mediocre by virtue of his performance at UDUB), is that if a coach keeps winning in spite of all this, he isn't a mediocre coach!

My strong opinion is Kelly is in the top handful of those coaching today. The reason he is ending with eight or nine, instead of nine, ten, or eleven, is because pound for pound he is having more of this crap thrown up against him than any coach in America.

I always thought it was the pussies that used difficult academics as an excuse for poor football performance at ND. Where the real, honest, and manly would admit that the coach at ND was the biggest target of all the negative hateful turds of any coach in football.

If there are any legs to that hypothesis at all, we have a keeper. So all we have to do is eliminate the trash . . .

Without looking back... Am I late to know that both Juju and Adoree are both playing wr? Roster has them listed as s/wr and cb/wr respectively. I haven't noticed them on defense yet, but just started watching

I have seen Adoree on Defense mostly and STs. Juju has two receptions already.

Man they have some talent in their first lines. I saw Adoree with a catch too. Must be playing both ways

My mistake. I think I have been watching Cravens on d instead of Jackson.

Jackson has a TD catch already and he has been in on Defense and ST's JuJu has over 100 yards receiving. He's been in on Kick Return as well.

Staph infections can be pretty serious. No word on whether they have it under control and what the outcome of the surgery was.

yeah i have a nice 3 inch scar on my hand from MRSA....they better hope that $hit doesn't spread in the locker room...

MRSA is worse...holy Shite. The Browns had it in their locker room and had some real problems with players missing significant time.

This USC-Stanford game is definitely under the radar, any other week of the year it would be game of the week. Be interested to see how the Trees handle the USC no huddle. I think Stanford with grind them down though late in the game and take the win but not by much

The local media here made it out like they beat the Seahawks last week... I can't imagine the slurp fest if they somehow pull it out this weekend...

LOL yep. Media is doing the same for UM. Funny cuz I don't see ND getting the same love and they all played inferior teams.

Yeah, I think a bit of the ND missing love comes from a large number of media types expect ND to get stomped numerous times this year... including possibly this weekend... so they're not wanting to jump on that bandwagon just yet.

This is the part of it that really made me question whether he should be part of the playoff committee anymore. His body of work maybe earns him another chance, but that committee NEEDS to be beyond reproach for the system to even come close to working.

I guess I didn't realize the AD couldn't do that.

I mean, I know it's hardly common to get an AD involved in a game in that way. I've certainly never heard of it before. But I didn't realize it was against the rules.

What's the rationale there? It's not like we should expect Haden to be impartial. He's USC's AD.

Whether he should be on the playoff committee is a different question, and a good one. But why can't he come down to discuss a call with the ref? I don't get that.
