PSU has got great coordinators. But all encompassing, the head coach to the coordinators to their recruiting, is far from the best in college football.
Was about to reluctantly praise a good hire but then

Would assume occasional games in VegasAbsolutely not to a neutral site game (unless USC is the only one giving up home games).
There are no demands, the series is cooked. It’s all PRso our new AD is now taking off the big boy pants and putting on panties and bowing to USC and their demands
ORRRR... hear me out AD Cohen... OOOORRRRRR DON'T JOIN A CONFERENCE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE DAMN COUNTRY!Seems like a positive development. Though I had to chuckle at a few things in this quote, as if Notre Dame doesn't also travel all over the place, and conference championship games are some sort of regular thing for USC:
“It’s not very typical that a P4 school would travel back and forth across the country for a nonconference game in the middle of October,” Cohen said. “Show me who else is doing that and doing the kind of travel we’re doing. It’s a cool tradition to play at the end of the year, but then those are back-to-back rivalry games with a conference championship — and our opponent doesn’t play in a conference championship.”
But ND does extend its season with the playoffs, something U$C has not needed to worry about in many years.Seems like a positive development. “But no conference championship” is such a lame-ass talking point, even more so in the expanded CFP era.But ND does extend its season with the playoffs, something U$C has not needed to worry about in many years.
When you have a hammer, all that matters is a Conference Championship Game.“But no conference championship” is such a lame-ass talking point, even more so in the expanded CFP era.
I expect it from comment-section mouth-breathers and, like, Pat Narduzzi. But you’d think the athletic director at USC would have something more original to say.
