He should have a lot to add when the subject of troubled programs and how to handle arrested players come up.

Now I have to listen to him on T.V. when I couldn't stand just looking at him on the sidelines?

Face it, boys. ESPN just signed Lou Holtz's replacement

Here's a question for all of IE...

Who retires first?

a. JoePa
b. Lou Holtz
c. **** Vitale
d. Alex Trebek

Maybe Urban could do a segment on College Gameday called "Reversal of Fortune". They could throw it over to him like "Urban, you're a coach that retired, then changed your mind, came back then retired again. These experiences make you an expert on reversing your field...what does [insert struggling Top 25 team of the day here] need to do to get this turned around?" That would be awesome.

I think it's hilarious that it censored Mr. Vitale's name.

They can do it on location at a nearby Waffle House and Urbie can run clips from Kerry's '04 campaign. "The Gridiron's Greatest Waffles"

My guess is that Meyer will show signs of re-finding himself as a human being now that he's left the crap-toilet of SEC football coaching. I still think that a major reason that he got out was that he didn't like looking at what he'd become in the mirror each morning.

"Don't you draw the Queen of Diamonds, boy, she'll beat you if she's able..."

P.S. noticed that someone changed the phrase under the nickname again. I wish to state that there is no lightning left in this old man. Forty years ago I would have happily said "let's see what you got" on the basketball court, but now I'm happy to be able to climb the stairs in the stands.

He hasn't coached the last 20 years.

I hate to say it, but I honestly think they will have an FSU type revival after he is gone. They program will get a shot in the arm, and they will start recruiting with more energy and fervor. They have built up to good of an infrastructure and have too much tradition to wallow in mediocrity for too long.

Spring Football 101: Michigan - ESPN Video - ESPN

I hate Michigan as much as any other Irish fan but every time I watch Denard I can't help but like the kid.. He seems humble and hard working. That's not saying I don't want Teo to flatten him though. Brady Hoke on the other hand looks like a modern Fred Flinstone. He's gonna be in for a rude surprise when BK n crew come to Ann Arbor.
