WVU is on pace for their usual 500 yds offense. SYR has 180 yds of O which is a little better than they normally have and WVU has allowed at the half.

WVU is -1 on turnovers (INT) and already has 8 penalties. Smith has a 64 yd pass play TD but SYR returned the KO 98 yds for a TD. The Mountaineers are largely one dimensional as they have almost 200 yds passing but less than 30 yds rushing. The Orange had back to back sacks for -19 to thwart one WV drive.
