Anyone who watches football knew UNI would give Iowa State a game.

Way to go JMU!

I’m still flabbergasted at how Willie Taggart gets plum jobs. He must be the best salesman.

FSU homer refs screwed another visiting team out of a potential game winning TD.

Boise State allowed 68 yards, four first downs and no points in the second half. Hats off to Jeff Schmedding and the defensive coaches. Unbelievable turnaround in the second half.

They refunded the money for the Jaguars stadium tickets and had a $10 general admission for the game in Tallahassee and STILL only filled two-thirds of the stadium.

Hello, Dorian???

FSU draws fans from throughout the state and about half the state is preparing for a Cat 4 Hurricane. Folks have left the state, are lined up at gas stations, grocery stores, nailing up sheets, and filling sandbags. And they changed venues and starting time in short notice. Did the RV/Tailgate crowd that was already in JAX relocate to Tallahassee with 140 mph winds to the rear or did they head home to family and pets? All those people that made it to the game still have to get home in traffic with people fleeing the state and gas in short supply.

And that's on top of the Taggart/Fisher controversy.

I'm thinking more about the local fan that doesn't usually go that can now get in for $10. Notre Dame-NC State was a sellout during the hurricane at inflated prices.

Cack and I partied in that mess. Best game experience ever by a long mile even in a loss.
And I paid a boat load for front row and someone offered me a good amount more on game day plus his seats that weren't bad.

I would recommend hurricanes every single time!

I watched the ND/NCS game and recall the rain, lots of rain, tough day to run a passing attack but I don't recall the announcers discussing the declared state of emergency, people boarding up and evacuating, nor the Weather Channel and networks showing motorists fleeing the state, massive gas lines, police escorting gas tankers to replenish exhausted supplies, empty store shelves, and people filling sandbags. Dorian's track has moved from 10 miles inland to 10 miles or so but it's still impacting millions of Floridians. It would have impacted attendance in Miami, Gainsville, or Orlando.

And as I noted there's also the Taggart/Fisher controversy. Willie had lost 7 of 12 prior to today. That probably impacted local fans that could have been walk-ups but were accustomed to their couch, their bathroom, their beer, instant replay, and the ability to turn off the game as the Noles faded in the 2nd half.

Not sure why we are arguing. The bold is the whole point of our posts. $10 ticket to a game and still 2/3s empty bc of the state of the program

We tailgated in the middle of that hurricane at NC State. That was my first time being in a hurricane. There was a lot of rain, but I didn't think the hurricane weather was that bad. I would've taken that weather over the freezing rain on a November Saturday in South Bend.
