Don't know who was favored by what but Mizzou beat the crap out of Vandy @ Vandy, just a FWIW for all the James Franklin fans

Is NW that good, or is OSU that overrated?

OSU is that overrated. Bama, Georgia (when fully healthy), Oregon, and Clemson would all beat OSU by double digits. It will be a travesty if they wind up in the NCG, especially over some of the teams that I mentioned.

Just got back from the Northwestern vs Ohio State game. Gosh darn it I thought OSU was going down! Been to several NW games these past few years. This was the best atmosphere I've seen for a game in Evanston. It does stink though that Northwestern can't sell out their stadium so 40 percent of the fans end up being OSU fans.

I sat next to a very how should I put it "bitc" I mean whinny girl who was a OSU fan. I must say she was kind of hot though.

I follow Northwestern almost as much as I follow ND. It was a tough lost for them. They were looking for that signature win of the Fitzgerald era but it didn't work out tonight. Gave Urban Meyer and OSU all they could handle.

Just turned the game on. Not sure how it happened but UW has the ball down 31-28 at Stanford with 1:41 left.

Stanford escapes with the win. I think UW may have got screwed on 4th and 10 after a ridiculous Keith Price scramble and completion was overturned on replay.

I am sitting here fuming. How are officials apparently blowing HUGE calls on replay review?? It happened twice today!

In the NW/OSU game, it looked really clear to me that Kain Colter got the first down on that 4th down run late in the game. The camera angle from behind Colter appeared to confirm it. I cannot understand how the refs reviewed that play and still concluded that he didn't get the first.

Then in the UW/Stanford game, that late 4th down pass by Keith Price was ruled a catch on the field. There was nothing CLOSE to indisputable video evidence that the ball hit the ground, unless the ref had something to look at that we didn't. I cannot understand how the refs reviewed that play and found indisputable video evidence that the pass was incomplete.
(Feel less bad for UW than OSU because Seferian-Jenkins straight up dropped a first-down pass on third down ... that 4th down play should never have happened.)

I mean I just don't get it. What were these officials watching?

So you think Colter did get the 1st? I was in the south endzone really couldn't see well but it looked like on the video screen he got. OSU was on the ropes I think NW would scored on that drive.

NW just doesn't have the depth on defense. They got worn down on defense in the 2nd half. Great D the first half as the only OSU touchdown through the first half was on a blocked punt.

It did seem that a lot of the big calls went against Northwestern in this game.

I'm glad ND won but I'm sulking over this one. I wanted to be on hand when the streak ended for OSU.

Yeah they showed one angle that appeared to confirm that he got the first. I was stunned when they gave the ball to OSU after the review.

Mizzou is tied with Georgia at 7

Texas is beating OU 10-3

I'm cheering for both of the underdogs. Btw, McCoy got rocked into next week on a play which I wish they wouldn't have thrown the flag

UGA has no depth on offense, they are kinda pretty screwed and things could get ugly for them come november

17-3 Texas. Wow. Haven't watched Texas since they got destroyed by BYU, so are they actually a pretty good team or is Oklahoma overrated and not as good as people think? Still a lot of time left, though.

Texas looks like a different team out there. They are bringing it to OU right now.

And Mizzou looks like the real deal so far in the first half

Texas hasn't looked good all year. But everyone says that you play your best against your biggest rival

OK will come back. I don't think UGA will, though. I am surprised because I really didn't think Missouri was that good at all when I watched them play this year. I guess they are proving me wrong.

McCoy missed a wide open receiver and could've been up 24-3. The kicker saved him and hits a 50 yarder

i dont think Mizzou are that great its just UGA looks emotionally drained in this first half after going to OT last week versus UT.

Yep, especially with their lack of depth on Offense with their 2 stud RB's and WR's out. The guys that are being forced to play aren't looking all that great.

Oklahoma is going to run the ball at will in the second half. They are doing it on this drive and just got an easy TD. I wouldn't be surprised to see the usual of the last 3 years where Oklahoma blows the game open.

That could contributing to this lop sided game. But give Mizzou credit. They have blown out every one that they have played so far

OU simply doesn't have the size to stop the run. And they're getting out played on both sides of the ball

Since Mizzou is in the SEC do they jump into the top 10 or top 5?

lol listening to the commentators you get the feeling Mizzou isnt regarded as a "respected" SEC team yet. They are still been given the plucky underdog tag like they are Directional U Somebodies
