This is where I'm at. What gives me hope is ND is flying waaaaaaaaay under the radar. Watching College Gameday & ND isn't even a blip on the radar,,,,which is fine by me. If they can go 2-2 vs UGA, SC, Miami & Stanford, they should exceed my expectations. Go Irish!

Great points. It does make me wonder if ND has the largest gambling fanbase or the largest blind homer fanbase thats willing to bet ND to win/cover no matter what. Isnt that what drives the spread (im no Vegas expert)? The more $ money put on ND, the tighter the spread?
Ive noticed, even when ND wins, they rarely cover. Does that matter? No, a win is a win in most cases (BC & WF wins in 2015 not withstanding) but it does pose the question of blind loyalty gambling or ND just cant avoid playing down to their competition.
Either way, i believe every fanbase has a segment of "Debbie Downers", "Pollyannas" & in between (Rational?).
