By the way, just so everyone is clear, Russia absolutely did act to help Trump in 2016. This is well-established fact, vetted by both parties.

The only thing that was bogus/unproven was "collusion."

In that letter from Ratcliffe, none of that is verified information. And it originates from Russia. That's why he uses "alleged" multiple times and acknowledges they "don't know the accuracy of this allegation or extent to which ... may reflect exaggeration or fabrication."

Ya the whole collusion narrative, which we heard about nonstop for 3 years, was fake as fuck. Imagine the power of the government to upend your life and your presidency for years based on paid, fake, opposition research from your political opponent.

Hillary Clinton paid for the dossier. And it was unverifiable and the FBI lied to the FISC to get a wiretap, and launched a THREE YEAR investigation.

Small potatoes though lol. Jesus.

It’s mind blowing that you don’t care about this at all.

Come on man. If we know this was reported in July (that's not up for debate), and we know HRC and the DNC funded Steele and fusion GPS, this is not a large leap. It's not even a baby step. How would whoever reported this know to say HRC? Just a good guess lol...

And about the timing complaints. Sort of like the timing of all the allegations against Trump in the first election? Can Dems really complain with a straight face.

Dude, every legitimate news source is questioning this. This is what Business Insider had to say:
Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe declassified a dubious claim from Russian intelligence sources alleging that former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton "approved a campaign plan to stir up a scandal" against then-Republican candidate Donald Trump and his ties to Russia.

The DNI's move raised questions about why the nation's spy chief declassified information that had not been corroborated and which he himself admitted may be false or exaggerated.

So none of this is vetted or verified at this point. For the same reason the Steele dossier was bullshit and never should've been trusted, this should be met with skepticism as well. It could be true, it could be false, or it could be somewhere in the middle. But Trump's DNI is releasing it right now so that Trump can trumpet it as fact and try to score some points. Shrewd political move? Sure. But let's not pretend it's anything more than that.

No, I mean to believe what the Republican commissioned report confirmed for the 3rd time now, which is that Joe Biden did nothing wrong.

I get why people on the right want to latch onto this, but how many times does it have to be investigated to show it's a nothing burger? First it was that a prosecutor was removed to help Hunter, then after that was thoroughly debunked it morphed into conjecture about $$ => Hunter == access and influence in the Obama administration. People are basically mad that Hunter got a bunch of money he "didn't earn," and want to extrapolate that to it affecting US policy and "selling access" neither of which is there any evidence of.

It's also incredibly ironic that we learn about the President of the United States taking millions of dollars from foreign sources; paying his children as "consultants"; enriching himself with taxpayer money at his businesses; etc. and I'm supposed to give a single shit about Hunter Biden when even the Republicans say Joe Biden is clean. Anyone who actually cares about conflicts of interest, foreign influence, ethics, etc. would not be supporting Trump.

What about Hunter and his business partner's investment ties to Fisker Automotive which Joe Biden spearheaded the government loan program ultimately costing the US taxpayers over a $100 million? It was bad enough when Joe promised they would build the cars in his home state of Delaware only to build in Finland. The Hunter investment news is just icing on the Biden cake.

So, what you’re saying is that our agencies could be political??????

Wow, where was all this healthy skepticism before?

Also, Business Insider is NOT a legitimate news source. It’s just another partisan rag.

It’s funny, I don’t remember seeing disclaimers like that on MSM hitjobs claiming Russia Collusion lol.

John Kerry sure seems to be hiding since his son's name pops up in every story because of his business ties to Hunter.

It's simple. Either
1. The source was legit
2. The source gave disinfo that coincidentally was indeed true.

Which is it?

The folks enraged about the timing, yet not enraged about the timing of stuff in 2016, is kinda twilight zone karma, no?

Informal straw poll-- Should Whiskeyjack:
(1) Watch tonight's debate; or
(2) Punch himself repeatedly in the groin?

I think politicians should have hype walkouts for debates and rallies. What would Trump's walkout be and what would Biden's be?

Biden already struggling.
Trump more soft spoken than I thought to start. He needs to stay in that zone.
I don't like him arguing with the moderator though.

Biden refusing to answer the question about ending the filibuster and packing the SCOTUS was not a surprise, but still a bad look.

Biden literally just refused to answer on the Court. The assumption has to be that he will expand the Court. Fuck this guy lol

Donald hit him from the top rope with the comment "you graduated last or near there in your class. Dont use the word smart with me."

I think I’ve watched all I can handle after 30 minutes lol. I won’t be voting for either of these clowns, but The biggest thing that stands out to me is that Trump is far and away more mentally sharp than Biden. That’s not meant as an insult towards Biden, it just seems that he’s got some cognitive issues that really make him look bad in a debate setting.

For all practical purposes, a vote for Biden is really a vote for Harris to be president.
