I believe so I think there's another window tho. I may be wrong but I think we are at 87-88 now.So, am I correct that the transfer portal now closed? And we only lost Lewis and Bell?
How could there be another window? Make it stop!I believe so I think there's another window tho. I may be wrong but I think we are at 87-88 now.
Grad transfer can declare wheneverHow could there be another window? Make it stop!
(I would assume two to three players will medical/retire/whatever between now and Sept. 1. But that's not likely to be anyone in the two-deep or one of our quarterbacks, which are my primary areas of concern here.)
Yes totally agree. Already nervous about this going into TAM, and the game is 4 months away. Hope the staff makes a move soon.I get it. OL is like synchronized swimming or something. But, I’d really like them to poach a top OL talent. This team is primed to light up the world. OL is my only concern.

For peace of mind they needed to get a no-doubt starter at tackle.I get it. OL is like synchronized swimming or something. But, I’d really like them to poach a top OL talent. This team is primed to light up the world. OL is my only concern.
Getting a no doubt starter in the portal is virtually impossible for OL.For peace of mind they needed to get a no-doubt starter at tackle.
But, taking a tackle at a level that doesn't make Tosh Baker enter the portal immediately; develop and work in-house it's looking like.
^ seems we are here ^ (I don't like it here)
Getting a no doubt starter in the portal is virtually impossible for OL.
For sure -.Getting a no doubt starter in the portal is virtually impossible for OL.
definitely agreed, only special circumstances it seems, like a traditional o-line team shifting strategy and coaching, ex. Stanford had 5 go into the portal. (2 to Michigan that started games this year)Agree with this. The hit rates on a ready-made tackle stepping into a program as a transfer and having a profound impact are very, very low.

?So Pristers prominent player to leave was Jayden Thomas
?
Is Jayden Thomas leaving? He would be a loss.
His issue is what he needs to control… healthy and in shape… he does that and he has great yearNo, he was concerned with his role because of his injury history and how it affected his spring as well. But he’s sticking it out.
so all the gossiping we did was kind of correct. a lot of us thought thatSo Pristers prominent player to leave was Jayden Thomas
Yeah of our starters Thomas was probably the most logical outbound transfer candidate. But there was also a LOT of speculating about Angeli and Minchey, both of whom appear to be sticking around for the season.so all the gossiping we did was kind of correct. a lot of us thought that
Yep. It's the best move for him and for us. We keep a talented QB in the room, and he can see what happens over the next seven or eight months and then go, if he needs. He wasn't going to start anywhere worthwhile this season anyway.Minchey sticking around makes a lot of sense he can compete with Carr next year and if he doesn’t win jump ship and still have 3 years of egibility
Not if you want to be eligible this season. If the player is fine with missing a year, they can transfer. There isn't a summer transfer window?
There’s always the wonderful “play four games and shut it down “ gambit. Not if you want to be eligible this season. If the player is fine with missing a year, they can transfer.
Biggest problem is what happens next year? Say you go Angeli, Minchey, Carr battling for QB 1. Carr wins? Angeli has 2 years left he jumps ship, Minchey has 3 years left he jumps ship. That leaves you with Carr as QB1 and Duece as QB2?I’m shocked Minchey didn’t transfer, so good for him. Angeli is going to have a hell of a time trying to hold off Carr and Minchey in 2025.
