Rutgers had three QBs transfer in three days - junior quarterback Hayden Rettig, junior QB, Chris Laviano, and redshirt freshman QB Michael Dare. Rutgers was 128th out of 128 schools in FBS in yards per passing attempt

Kyle Trout becomes Ohio State's third transfer. (Six players have left for the NFL.) With current verbal commitments, their scholarship count is at ninety.

Two former Texas players - Erik Huhn, S, and Blake Whiteley, TE - have announced they are pursuing graduate transfers. Both had ACL surgery. Both did not play for Texas in 2015 and were put on medical scholarships in July 2016. Ty Templin, who also had ACL surgery, was also put on a medical scholarship in July 2016 before fall camp.

With those three switched to medical scholarships, Texas was at 84 scholarships with the addition of a former LSU kicker Trent Domingue, leaving a scholarship available for 2016 defensive end/linebacker signee Erick Fowler, who qualified prior to fall camp.

Former Arkansas QB Ricky Town selects transfer destination

Town originally committed to Alabama, switched to USC where he enrolled early, transferred to Arkansas before playing for USC, sat out the 2015 season per transfer rules and was third string at Arkansas in 2016. Three of the four Gophers football players facing expulsion from the University of Minnesota have either transferred or left the U.

Last Friday, the four players were recommended for expulsion by a school panel for their suspected involvement in an alleged sexual assault in September. They can appeal the decision.

nothing yet but the grad transfer carosel has pretty much stopped spinning except for him.
Does anyone know if he has the credits to graduate before spring ball starts? is he still at ND taking classes etc?

Reportedly, Zaire has finished school in Dec. Once considering Florida, who could use him, he cannot due to a SEC rule that teams are barred from accepting more grad transfers if those transfers did not finish school. Fla. and possibly three or four other SEC schools are on that list. Initially, that penalty was for five years, now lowered to three, and now being reconsidered. Perhaps he is waiting to see what the SEC does with that rule - or waiting for a scholarship to open up. Or finding the right academic match. He'll only have fall camp wherever to learn their system.
