Antwane Wells is one WR we should target
Interesting one. Major production in 2021 and 2022. Assume he was hurt in 2023, and would be a grad transfer. Don't believe we ever offered, so not sure how interested he'd be.

At a minimum, right? We were already in for 1-2, and that was before losing Tyree and Merriweather.

I think 2 is fine as the room will at least have 8 next year based off those currently on the 2024 roster. I don't see Thomas or Colzie transferring. Worst case you have KK and Braylon transfer to get you to 8, but I don't think both will which would leave you at 9.

You still have:
Senior: Jayden Thomas, Deion Colzie
Sophomore: Jaden Greathouse, Rico Flores, Jordan Faison, KK Smith, Braylon James
Freshman: Cam Williams, Micah Gilbert, Logan Saldate.

If they only lose 1 more transfer and bring in 2 transfers, 11 receivers in the portal era is actually great depth.

If ND can go pay a QB 1-2 million they need to do the same for a stud WR.
People keep saying things like this, but you do realize it's not actually Notre Dame paying them. Right? It's a collective. A collective that doesn't have an endowment in the billions.

Antwane Wells would be a monster addition to the room. Sadly, he's transferring from SC and I don't know how interested he'll be.

Hope we see something showing interest in the next 24 hrs.

Obviously, most of these people are giving zero of their own dollars but they expect all the other people to foot the bill so they can wear their ND gear with maximum pride after a natty.

So let me restate for them: If the ND collective can give 1-2 mill to get a QB, they need to be shelling out for skill position players as well to improve the chances of success.

It's so nice that ND has a collective, and it's set-up correctly, above board and we're the quintessential "good actors" while all those dirty, rotten, toothless SEC folks are dropping soiled bags of cash from drugs and sex-trafficking.

Huzzah!

He is a graduate transfer so that's something.

USC fans are saying they are hearing Texas as the early leader.

Gotta get a WR coach first. A 1,000 yard/year grad transfer is not going to a place w/out a position coach.

If Leonard's secure priority #1 needs to be locking the right WR coach. Who knows who hits portal in next 5 mins, and we will miss out on them until we have a coach.

Now Braylon James is gonna transfer. WTF. Notre Dame will need to figure out how to get undergrad kids in because this day in age if kids don't play much their first year they'll jump ship.
