Hard not to be excited about the offense going into next year. OL, RB, WR rooms are going to be special, and if they get 55-60% from Hartman next year, they’ll score 45/game

So happy for MF and that great group of guys.

See you in Dublin in 239 days

Also after the first USC drive our D looked good for the most part. So many freshmen and sophomores playing on both sides of the ball. Future is bright

Facts are facts sorry mate the kid is him. 😤
He was meh from a stats standpoint...he was 54% completion for 274 yards...3 interceptions...I know that 2 were tipped but I still blame it on him. He throws way too low...the biggest issue I have with him, is he lacks touch...his short passes were so bad...ugh...

Yeah his fundamentals are brutal. He needs a ton of coaching and game reps to iron out things. Will he get either? Not sure he will.

I think USC probably practiced that whole first quarter. ND was off balance with all the screens and draws and that TE delay was a great call. After that they were who they were.

Crazy to think that USC had the edge with defense and special teams but ND won the game with offense.

He accounted for 5 touchdowns.

The Irish had 600 yards of offense and 45 points with a win.

Sorry the kid who hasn't played all year made a couple mistakes. He balled.

You have a veteran OC and QB and ND wins by 21 points. Rees is the smartest guy in the room….
TR called a good game. Not every call is going to work during a game and that call towards the end was abhorrent. But, he came back the next drive and called it beautifully to include the ballsy call to Mitch.

He’s got stones. And yes, I want him back.

Estime is my MVP for the season. He runs with heart and his will to turn a negative play into a positive is contagious. I could go on all day about him and his desire to succeed. Can’t wait to see him play hard again next season!
I don't think this can (or will) be overstated. Estime is a beast and he refuses to lose yards on first contact. And when he gets a head of steam, 8 yds turns into 15 with 2-3 guys trying to drag him to the ground. He's a damn thoroughbred and I hope he keeps adding 5% to his game because he's an absolute force.

Diggs also played very well and is proving to be a very well-rounded back. Our RB is stocked and I can't wait to see who emerges. No matter who takes the #1 spot, I think Estime needs at least 8 touches/game because he really helps wear a defense down.

After getting caught up here, I think we need two post game threads. The regular and this one.

I'd love for him to have more touches but I'm also trying to be realistic. We have Diggs, Price, Payne, Love and potentially Tyree (if he doesn't move to slot). There will be 2 other RBs that are pushing for snaps in 23 and I think each RB offers something unique.
