Postgame Thoughts:
1) When Bucher was good he was good, when he was bad he was bad. ND needs Hartman for next year, I think it would help Buchner's development and make him better as a starting QB in 2024.
2) Cannot say enough about Estime and Diggs, they both rain their tails off, and they will be fun to watch next season.
3) Move Tyree to slot, P/R, where ND will get more out of him. Price & Love will add a boost to the RB position.
4) Makes you wonder how Lenzy's ND career would've ended differently if he didn't have his injury or a QB that could throw to him.
5) Defense adjustments at half time were big, 8 rushing yards the whole 2nd half.
6) Sneed is going to be a beast for ND next year.
7) ND has a lot of young talent that can contribute for next season.
8) The football program is in good hands with Freeman.

Go Irish!!
I know I’ve watched The Wire too many times because I automatically read this in Jay Landsman’s voice:

“Tyler, I say this seriously. If I was laying 6 on the Irish in a tie ball game, I’d want it to be you, leading the Irish down the field for that touchdown. Because brother, when you were good, you were the best we had.”

You cannot run real offense with a Pyne (no stature and arm strength to make all the throws) or Buchner (accuracy and decision making issues).

I have to think a lot of the accuracy/decision making issues come from just a lack of football over the last 3 years, for various reasons. Learning for a year behind a good college QB who makes GREAT reads & working on his mechanics (instead of behind Coan/Pyne or up in a booth) would be good for him in the long run.

I took a work underling with me. His first CFB game. I checked In with him today and he sent me his Amazon.
He's geared up already and looking forward to next year.

He's one of the good ole' boys now...

This guy certainly didn't look like a coach at the bowl game. He looked like a 3 year old brat throwing a tantrum that he didn't get his way. I get that a coach is going to argue with the refs, but he just acted like a petulant child.
His was still complaining after the game.
