I hope Dallas wins so people can shit on Romo even more.
So they stop shitting on Eli Manning?
Just taking a small jab at Eli. Romo has given people every reason to shit on him so I'm not sure he needs to add to his illustrious wall of shame. However, Eli had one of the worst season I've ever seen out of a Super Bowl winning QB nobody seems to mention that.
I just get a kick out of the Romo debate. I agree that Eli has been basically ignored but he has earned it, I guess.
I know I'm on an island with this, but I feel bad for Romo. I think he is a good QB. Not a hall of gamer, obviously, but perfectly OK. I hate the Cowboys, but I empathize with Romo enough that I always find myself pulling for them. I hate to see anyone go through what he has. I just want him to come through once to get the monkey off his back. Guess it will have to wait til next year....

If Jerry Jones was out for a season, the Cowboys might do something......I hope he's never out for a season. I don't know why, but I love to hate on the Cowboys.

My mother in law didn't give two shits about football until she heard from a friend that Romo was of Mexican descent... now she is this huge Cowboys fan and insists on pronouncing his name like a damn Spanish futball announcer...
fuck that guy.

Good thing I locked in this morning eagles +3
Dr. Mark Adickes on ESPN said Romo was supposedly getting an epidural block and that a patient does recieve that treatment when surgery is planned.
This Romo thing seems really fishy. I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up playing. I get the feeling that the season-ending injury claim was a false leak to make him look really tough if he plays. I guess we will find out Sunday...
Damn, I didn't know he was about to give birth!
"Epie's" ain't just for childbirth and "lady problems."
Back in about 1980 I went in for a surgical "procedure." [For once I won't go into detail] and was told, via pamphlet, not to eat after midnight. Done and done.
The morning of the surgery I was handed a plastic cup and asked to provide a "sample." I quipped that had I known I'd have had a third cup of coffee – it would have made things easier. What wasn't made clear was that a cup or two of coffee was equivalent to "eating."
Bottom line (pun recognized butt not necessarily intended): the result was that I was given an epidural with a scaled-back general anesthetic.
What was intended to be a simple, "ambulatory procedure" left me with a nonfunctional body below my diaphragm. I'd planned to take a bus home, but found myself rolled out from the hospital/clinic in a wheelchair to the curb since it was closing time.
I caught a ride from a friend I'd called in a panic. She wasn't supposed to know a damn thing about what I was up to, but she married me two years later anyway.
She divorced me ten years later, but nothing tried, nothing gained. What the hell.
