Sounds like a foregone conclusion that TR will be at Bama next year. I think we should all hate to see him go. ND's offense next year could've been (and still can be) great. But I genuinely think he's earned the spot and will do great things. It's impossible to blame him for wanting to test his abilities in the SEC and grow as a coach under Saban.

With that said, I think the next OC will be drooling and MF can have his pick of the bunch. Sam Hartman, a stocked QB room behind him, this OL and RB group, plus the WR....not to mention the influx in talent....If Freeman gets this hire right, ND will be just fine.

The dude has been a constant pariah as both a player and coach. His being an "ND guy" are words that ring rather hollow with that being said. He hasn't exactly always felt the warmth embrace of the fanbase and has spent a third of his life at the university.

Tommy doesn't owe ND or any of it's fans jack shit.

If Tommy's aspiration is to coach in the NFL then Nick Saban is definitely not the GOAT. His 15-17 record with the Dolphins makes that clear. If Bill Belicheck wanted to hire Tommy as OC for the Patriots that would be a no-brainer.
