Look up the Brendan Gibbons rape. While at Michigan their kicker raped a woman freshman year, Lewan was Gibbons' roommate. The university managed to sweep the whole thing under the rug UNTIL Gibbons graduated, then charges were brought up. When the rape occurred Lewan (allegedly) threated the rape victim which he of course denies. If I recall he settled out of court to keep his name out of it and not tarnish his career. Rape threats aside, Lewan has always been a bit of an asshat, he allegedly also fought with fans after a game against OSU, and he's generally had a history of being douchey on social media.
Plus, he's a Michigan man, so fuck 'em!

I actually feel safer launching my boat in Detroit to fish st Claire than to to anywhere around Cleveland to fish erie. Had some whacked out crackheads come up to us at Rocky River in Cleveland. Reminded me real quick why I carry everywhereYears later I still get a chuckle out of "at least we're not Detroit."

Victor Valley beat Apple Valley in the Bell Game last night for the first time since a knucklehead poster here on IE coached Victor,… 15 or so years. Victor would have won last year but Apple made an excuse to cancel the game but I digress,…. Anyway, go Jackrabbits.

Wasn’t really sure where to put this.
Went to the local HS football game tonight. My hometown school that’s winless, against an undefeated ranked team in their division.
Our kids played their hearts out and were down 12-9 after a miracle touchdown pass to pull within 3 with only a couple minutes left. Keep in mind this other team has been winning games 50-7 most weeks.
With about a 1:40 left, we only had one timeout, all the other team had to do was kneel 3 times, but they ran it. Our kids stripped the ball and returned it 60 yards to go up 15-12.
Under a minute left, the other team throws a 50 yard bomb down the field into single coverage (don’t get me started) the kid catches it and streaks to the end zone. But the DB catches him and strips the ball from behind, ball on the ground around the 5 yard line, and the other team picks up the fumble and runs it in to win 17-15.
Felt so bad for those kids to lose that way. One of the craziest ends to a game I’ve ever seen.
