That was merely mirroring your actions SnD (italics). You have done the same, get angry with someone you disagree with (if I recall, it was your strong COVID beliefs) and instead of debating or allowing someone to disagree with you, you just tell them to F off or something.

When did this become Thread of the Random Assholes? If you guys want to fling feces at each other, take it to the Politics thread. Better yet, PM each other with your vitriol. I'm tired of these threads getting cluttered up with posters dialing it up to 11 out of nowhere because someone said a thing they didn't like one time. These name-calling detours are as exasperating as they are boring. If you're going to bring the shit show here, at least make it interesting.

This reminds me in an obtuse way of a story I saw several years ago in the magazine Colonial Williamsburg puts out of a guy who had donated some stuff who was the grandson of President John Tyler, the 10th President of the United States. The thing is, the guy WAS STILL ALIVE. Apparently Tyler had a kid when he was 60, that kid had a kid at 60, and that kid was still around.

Edit: The guy is still alive!

Sheriff and FWC knocking on my door at 10 pm last night, letting me know a black bear was spotted in the neighborhood...and he's now in my back yard.

Bastard knocked over my trash can, and was munching on a bag of old marshmallows in the back corner. Hopped a fence after about a half hour, to my neighbor's yard where they captured him. That's twice in 20 years of living here.

Think they were especially attentive given we just had the 1st recorded fatal attack in Florida like a week ago, down in Collier County, not far from Naples.

The flood in south central Texas is tragic. Latest death toll is 67 confirmed deaths with many more still missing and likely dead. Much heavier rains than predicted caused flash floods and water levels rising more than 25 feet in some areas. Maybe most tragic is there was a summer camp full of young girls near the worst part of the flooded area and they got hit hard. Eleven of the girls have been confirmed dead so far with about that many still missing. Hard to imagine just how horrible it must be for their families. As a father of five girls, this had bothered me more than most disasters.

In Myrtle beach for a 10 dayer. 12 hour drive and I am ready to go home already. I have never seen so many self entitled shit bag families in all of my life. Mother fuckin dad that i passed on the walkway screamed in my face singing some song in a drunken stupor with his weird kids laughing the. I turned to him and told him that I am sure that as head of the trailer park or wherever government assistance he is from is missing those golden vocal cords. Dude said he wasn’t thrilled with my comment, I told him food stamps don’t buy tough. Walked away with a smile on my face.

I remembered going to Myrtle about 25 years ago with my family. I thought it was fine then. When I decided to take my family last year a few friends told me Myrtle Beach has really gone downhill recently, some really shady parts you want to stay away from. Fortunately I didn't really encounter any of that, but we also spent most of the trip hanging out at the suite, chilling by the pool and swimming in the ocean.

We didn't do a ton in town, spent an evening at the Family Fun Adventure Park as I had in my younger days (Kinda weird they only open up at night, but the kids enjoyed it). Other than that we did putt putt one night, I took my daughter to the Wax museum (We weren't into it), and we went to Medieval Times to relive the Cable Guy. All the middle age women were swooning for the knights, my teenage daughter wasn't amused, but my wife and I laughed. My boys loved it. We didn't walk around downtown at all really.
